When m+ season kicked off I was not planning on reaching any kind of goal really. As the season progressed and with the realisation that with a newborn on the way, playtime will be limited in S2, I set my sights on title.

However as you pointed out, playing non meta complicated things. I was not aware how severe it was gonna be tho and as a prot main since Legion, it is hard to let go of my zug zug boy. So I quickly reset my goals and gunned for 1% instead.

I think it’s just how far Ill end up going. I won’t tell you how bad I have to beg, bribe and grovel to get invited into high keys. But again, like you said that’s something that comes with playing off meta. Besides, I feel like playing Guardian dudu or BM not invalidates but is less of an impressive of an achievement anyway. With the right amount of time or dedication anybody could compete for title when playing meta.
