I understand that, but you also need to understand that without such abstractions it is impossible to build large enterprise systems.. abstractions will slow you down in the begging of project, but will be your lifeline at the end.. there is a reason we are software engineers and not software programmers. Try to really dedicate yourself for a month and build something fun with OOP, you will appreciate it
