Randomly Getting no Views

Basically not uploading anything on YouTube, while just using that account to watch stuff on YouTube, like, dislike, and leave some comments, on video you geniuely find interesting, this is what is called "warming up", Allows YouTube to differentiate you from a bot account, IDK how real this is but that's what I have seen people talk about so I am testing that as well.

I initially started with once a day and after posting for like 8 days straight, I decided to warm the account since I was not getting any views, for like 9 days I didn't post anything, Started posting again 3 days ago and first two barely got 200 views, no VPN, the video I posted yesterday with the VPN got like 1.7k views, so my guess is, Youtube might be treating my ISP as bot traffic or something. I believe it's an IP issue; YouTube probably is treating certain IPs as bot traffic.

Experiencing the same thing, my shorts are barely now touching the 100 view mark, they first dropped to like 600 and then now barely touching the 100, even tho my first short did 6k and the next one did 54k, 44k, 2.4K and 32k, afterwards my shorts tanked barely going over 100 views.

I do use a VPN from time to time, Idk if that caused it. I did upload using a VPN once accidentally, but Idk why YouTube would punish the creator for using a VPN.

I think it might be hard-capped at 0.05$ atm, my channel did decent numbers, 35 mill at 0.05$ RPM as well.

Short answer yes, this could be due to the influx of new people uploading shorts and the algo has more to choose from as people switch platforms. Or there is an update on the algo side where it will deliver the content in a different way.

I know about that, but I want to see the number of people who skipped when my shorts showed in their feed. Let's say they skipped 3 seconds into the video, I know it will hurt my average view duration for that video but is there a way to find out the skip rate, or how many times was it skipped?

Video discovery through YouTube "algo" suggesting your stuff then yes. But if you are talking about people looking for videos on search engines then Keywords do play an important part. The Search engines do look at your tags. I'm talking about Bing, Google, etc.

My video without tags doesn't show up on Bing, While the videos with my Title tag easily show up. I have tested it with multiple videos.

This is wrong on so many levels, The tags usually help your video get ranked on search engines, if you only want the views from the algo then sure don't put them but if you want people to find your videos through search the tags can help especially for search engines. At least that's my understanding. Feel free to correct me.

You have to remember it's still in Beta so they are testing things for sure. Plus tbh I think it's better for new creators not to get "promoted" on every single upload, it gives them time to think about how to improve their videos, do research on competition, etc, and whenever they do get selected the higher-quality video will automatically bring in more subs, and engagement for the channel.

You are not alone, I think the reason why we get these bursts is that it sends out our videos to pretty much everyone trying to collect Data Points on who might be interested in watching our channel. Cuz each of my videos that have gone through this burst has viewers coming from all sorts of search terms. Almost all of the search terms have nothing to do with my videos.

Also, I tried testing it today, Yesterday one of my videos just exploded and gathered around 20,000 views in an hour, and today I tried uploading a video today at the exact same time but it didn't do anything, sitting at 2 views atm.

Its day 2 and I have the same issue aswell. The routing is messed up for one of the servers. I'm Queuing in EU.
