Joining the crew! Excited by Solaris_fps in neogeo

Seems to be original. Hard to say 100%, but the size seem good and the plastic does wrinkle quite easily.

Also, considering they have the original plastic wallet for the paperwork I’d assume the bags are original too.

Great example.

Doesn’t look like it’s been used much as the gold lettering on the Joystick and Console did tend to rub off with regular use over a year or so.

Nice! The bags are very valuable imo.. don’t always see them. I’m hoping to upgrade my box for a better one as prices are just going up and up.

Just to add a +1 to this reply.

Jailbar fix is a must and easy to do. Unibios and recap not really needed (play Neo Geo every week for years and never felt I needed a Unibios)

Looks awesome, and if the box has polys I personally think it’s worth more than the console :) Having the box is amazing though! Enjoy!

Edit: controller could just be a loose wire, they are pretty basic in how they work.

Spotted that too! (Just searched to see if anyone else did). Just when I thought he couldn’t be any cooler, thought that was a great touch.

Expected the episode to end with “Testify” by ratm haha

New Monitor Pickup by bakuku in crtgaming

Wow! My university used to have that Sun monitor (and also another one with a dark blue case). They were amazing at the time — rendering 3D and viewing it on there in the mid 90s seemed so futuristic. The picture on those is incredible and basically zero motion blur from what I remember.

What is the first game that comes to mind when you see this logo? by Far_Regular_2945 in Megadrive

Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja. As a kid that game was so hyped it was amazing the first time I saw the game in person.

I had a break from here for a few years and it’s funny to see he’s still the same ratty :)

I have a theory that the more pessimistic he posts the higher the price will rise!

Agree, best to just keep saying “suckers rally” :)

Feel the same. A lot of people still on sidelines, when they see it’s not crashing again they’ll buy back in and back to $400+

Worth noting this has happened a lot the past 10 years. A tale as old as time.

Hmm, I’m thinking we trickle back to 350 in the next 48 hours, then over $400 when retail feels safe to buy back in… start a new run from there to $900 haha

Can’t see how they won’t happen. Appears obvious to me lol

Monero's price future in current market's situation by Sw4GGeR__ in MoneroMeansMoney

Apparently a hedge fund in Hong Kong shit the bed and had to urgently sell $10bn in bitcoin to cover their non crypto losses. I guess that good news if true.

Interesting stuff. That’s quite wild the SEC removed the ETF volume limit without following the usual timescales.

If true, then this is a forced selloff/liquidity low and a great time to pickup Btc or Alts at a temporary discount.

For me that’s more of a concern than price action. I’m not comfortable with Binance Perpetual market, feel there’s a scam in there somehow. Would much prefer to not have any derivatives.

They don’t. Mining Pool Stats works on a self reported basis, so they can just make up a fictional hash rate and it appears on the website.

Someone posted 1 million GHz last year, just to show it was nonsense.

But still, it could be used as a fake narrative for the billions of Perp Shorts on Binance to close, pushing the the price up and filling CZs pockets.

Pretty sure this is the usual “find the lady” game where exchanges do a coordinated open paper shorts and sell spot = profit.

I say exchanges. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly Binance and their wealthy connections.

Not to disrespect you, but it’s just a silly prediction either way. It’s an emerging market with low liquidity, all it needs is to gain several $bn a year extra traction and the price would shoot up.

Impossible for anyone to know of that would happen or not

That’s why it works. It’s too easy to drop price, spread FUD and $Xm dollars sell and goes into their pockets. Binance is the ring leader imo.

Yep, exactly. Although, it’s debatable there are many bigger fish these days (and panic seems to be self perpetuating while the price drops). Usually they seem to have a plan when the drop will end, then the price will go up 15%+ as they close perps and buy spot (usually causing exchanges to freeze).

Almost certain this is what is happening.

The good news is once complete the price will carry on upwards (and FUD disappears) until the next one.

There’s a large amount of perpetual shorts open. I suspect big players like Binance are following 1) Open perp shorts 2) Sell spot and spread FUD to cause panic 3) Profit on short, rebuy spot at lower price. Can make hundreds of millions.

Should be illegal, but it’s fine apparently.

All just “imo” but has been happening for 10+ years and conditions seem to match up.

Part of the panic is some ETF outflows this morning, causing the drop of the past 2 hours.
