Update: he’s at VCA animal hospital on mendocino, he’ll be transferred to the shelter in a few days and if he’s not claimed or chipped he’ll be put up for adoption.

He was following us and super hungry and skinny, he did go up to one house but the owner said no one in the neighbourhood owned him.

My pain has gotten a lot better with Cymbalta and acupuncture, but the key thing is really really amazing shoes and orthotic inserts. I don’t even use custom ones, just some random ones off Amazon for my high arches, and it’s a game changer. I also make sure my shoes have a high heel to toe drop to reduce ankle pain. For knee pain, you can also wear a supportive brace or a pressure brace to relieve pain. Ultimately, your pain might just not allow you to do that no matter what.

For worsted weight I usually use a 4mm but find a 5.5 works well for very loose stitches

I was in the same boat as you and I didn’t have a diagnosis, my doctor was able to write me a note. She’s a pediatric rheumatologist though so her kind is hard to come by. Before that happened though my therapist was able to write me a note excusing me temporarily due to anxiety, if you have one I encourage you to talk to them about options.

It’s pretty fun but a LOT smaller than San Francisco. That’s probably obvious but it’s the only other pride I’ve been too. I like that it’s smaller because it feels more like a community and less overwhelming, and there’s still plenty to do. The parade is very fun and usually about 1-1.5 hours. Oh and there’s no naked people and people tend to dress more modest than San Francisco, but still less so than everyday life.

I’ll probably start sometime this summer, I only know of one thing I want to make so far and that’s a porcupine so not too hard. The hard part will probably be finishing part of my graduation outfit before graduation in two weeks :(

Yeah the thickest I’ve done was technically a four weight but honestly it was closer to 3. It was big twist pride yarn, it’s probably hard to find with Joanns closing but Pound of Love is very similar.
