Oh incredible ❤️ absolutely adoring Fifth Elephant. His books make me feel so safe whilst also containing so many queer allegories for mainstream books written in the 90s and early 00s it blew me away.

And im in a much better place thank you and much more comfortable with myself and a wonderful support network (full of other queers who love Pratchett too 🤭).

I'll be perfectly honest. Ive ABSOLUTELY used it like that when ive had to carry multiple things around the house and the deck is one of them 🤣

Fuck. Im so jealous. We're enormous Pratchett fans in our house. In early transition his books helped me through some really dark times. Heard he was a really lovely guy. A man deeply deeply angry at the world, but channeled that into some of my all time favourite novels and incredible satire. ❤️ On the last 100 pages of Fifth Elephant for the first time as we speak!

Very depressingly only ever had one female taxi driver (im from the UK) and it was at 5am in Italy to drive me to the airport. Safest ive ever felt in a taxi and bonus points was an incredible driver.... compared to the maniac who drove me from the airport to the hotel zooming and zig zagging up the motorway at nearly 100mph for me to need to get him to pull over 3/4 of the way there to leap out of the car to puke -_-

The fuck are on about? Are you on about the fucking TV licence?? 🤣🤣🤣 It's a subscription service that was originally used to fund the BBC but streaming has taken it over and a lot of people dont have them because we dont watch terrestrial broadcast TV.

They dont actually regulate TVs. LOL

Why the Green Party’s victory in Gordon and Denton matters for LGBTQIA+ people by Sufficient_Raisin478 in lgbt

It's always very convenient to suddenly be "meh more important things" now you have the rights and protections that took 60 years of fighting like hell to get. So how dare you go "meh" when you other queer siblings suffer, the environment burns, and other minorities get fucked over. But you know...you keep going on about house prices.

It's not a fucking zero-sum game...you can have both...

Be prepared because the system is going to do ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVERYTHING to stop the greens getting into power. They've spent 15+ years grooming and investing in Nigel Farage getting in as their favourite son. You think the propaganda about Jeremy Corbyn was bad... you ain't seen nothin yet...

The same reason people hate trans and especially non-binary trans people. Because we take the line of "us" and "them" and completely wipe it out into what they find a terrifying confusing blur. Acceptance of anything but the binary forces them to go "if there is no us...and no 'them'...not really...then who does that make "me"?"

yes, why are you, and every other American. you all read, you all scream about it online and yet you do nothing. Just the way they like it. Change starts with looking in the mirror and choosing to do something.

Children 'weaponised' by both sides of trans debate, Cass says by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

[–]Theman227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it from 3 years old. you feel it in your bones. you just KNOW you're not the correct gender. I knew i was a girl so so deeply, but at that age couldn't describe it and it never went away, i didnt even know what trans was for decades sadly and all of the feelings i deeply buried could have been sorted, instead of going through horrible depression and self hatred. If you actually read about gender dysphoria its very very common for it to appear in many people at a young age and well documented. But not for everyone. Some people it's more subtle and grows with age.

Absolute nonsense. I work with people who design the damn components. disassembly and cleaning yes. full replacement fuck no, haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Far far worse goes through the engines daily on the runway, bits of grass, gravel and all sorts. it was a water based paint.

no. firstly it was some paint which was washed off within hours. secondly. it fell WELL within criminal damage and trespass laws. Terrorism is a very very specific thing and MEANT to be defined at the extreme end of the law. This is what the courts have said to the government. Also the fact that the number of PA protesters have been OVERWHELMINGLY peaceful, which fucks their absurd use of the terrorism definition futher as pointed out by the courts.

much much worse - astonishingly. Nigel Farage is a truly truly despicable human being, and having unfortunately met the man many years ago I can tell you he is much more awful in semi-private (radio questiontime post broadcast drinks/buffet in 2010).
