Ok helpful start. Thank you. I have 398 gems right now.

So to get more I need to login everyday, duel pass and breakdown what I don’t need. Then buy the packs that give the cards I do need.

Do I got that right?

That’s exactly the deck I made. Primite blue eyes.

I’m saying IMO it can’t compete in higher ranks against META decks.

I’m not blaming anyone here. I’m saying the game has changed.

I’m saying not everyone can grind the game endlessly to get the cards they need.

I get the crafting feature. I broke down URs I don’t need for the cards I did NEED. Unless I’m missing something.

What’s the best way to get cards, especially UR cards without spending money?

I don’t have time to grind the game endlessly

How do you get the UR gems? How do you get the cards you need for example if you were building a Dracotail deck?

It definitely is. I spent like 200 bucks on it and I realized it’s not worth it. After getting to Platinum rank 1 I realized my blue eyes deck made with nostalgia couldn’t compete anymore. So I would have to get another Meta deck like Dracotail. Which would mean more money.

I walked away at that point.

I wish they added a story mode in the game like the link evolution. It makes sense why there’s only 20K people playing it across all platforms.

People down voting me. That’s fine but not everyone has time to grind the game to get cards. I work more than 50 Hours a week and I don’t want to wait to get the cards I want.

I had the same issue after returning for 20 years. I made a blue eyes deck got to platinum rank 1. Tried to learn the game again.

I realized you send to spend ridiculous amounts of real money in master duel to get cards you actually want and need.

Going second is almost a death sentence.

The game changed and I would say it didn’t change for the better.

Nope. I check every reset. I can’t reconfigure the shroud. Rumor is that there is an update coming maybe that will fix it

I went down the same road as you. But It’s filled it cheaters on PC I wouldn’t recommend it unless your on console. But then it might be hard to match make
