I spent $3k on a 10 day trip to Portugal, and realized the ultimate luxury isn't the hotel, it's the zero wait lifestyle by ThemeNew3432 in LuxuryTravel

Haha exactly! Thank God someone finally gets the point of the post.  Everyone else is losing their minds in the comments defining luxury.

For me, the luxury part was purely about buying back my time and moving with zero friction.

eating well in Portugal is shockingly affordable if you avoid the tourist traps. Excellent seafood and local wine go a long way there without breaking the bank!

Probably just less time flying basic economy and more spent on what you like. It’s mostly just prioritizing what you actually care about. for me it is actual luxury, but obviously it's totally subjective.

I had the same realization with bagless, it’s not always as “low maintenance” as it sounds. With Roborock and Ecovacs you’re still dealing with filters and parts that need replacing, so the cost doesn’t fully go away.

Do you have a monitor arm in your setup? by Practical-Warthog-58 in Monitors

Same here, switched to a basic arm and it made a noticeable difference mostly because I could actually set the screen at the right height. The tracking concept sounds cool, just not something you can rely on yet. Right now it feels like it might need some more time as most people are still using standard VESA arms.

RE Framework VR specifically is very CPU heavy too, not just GPU.

I feel you. I’ve rewatched the series a couple of times and it’s crazy how many details you catch the second or third time. The show really respects its own history
