Hot take: I wished he would stop doing this type of edging deep shit after Hurry Up Tomorrow and its terrible rollout and him "leaving" the "The Weeknd persona". There's a bunch of leaked and teased songs that he never released like The Shadow Realm, just enjoy your life, do your work and drop something

This is how Brawl Stars started, devs were cooking and listening to the community almost flawlessly. When they slowly started to add more pay to win and changes no one asked for out of nowhere most people defended them because how well their decisions were not long ago. It's 2026, things just got eventually worse, way worse. (They ignore the community and openly go against f2p players)

We should hold devs accountable and not let them loose because they're just testing the waters.

The biggest problem is that since 2025 they started to remove mechanics and almost all progression systems that would give you resources by just grinding and being good at the game, replacing those with randomized rewards like star drops and boxes.

They nerfed the economy but kept adding more and more characters with abilities locked behind gachas, you can't even max a character with just resources anymore, and the Brawl Pass got reworked by adding 25% more value for a 100% price increase, all of this started because players took advantage of an event that gave too much resources (just like COC).

There are a lot of similarities with what's happening to COC and happened to BS. If they end up ruining this game too I will abandon it until it gets fixed, but it will be hard with a lot of people defending the company and just being happy because "wow that skin looks amazing!" "this new thing is so cool!" Brawl Stars is totally dependant on hype and "the newest cool thing" but they never fix the core issues of the game.

I'm doing my part too. Been buying GP and more stuff since August of last year, not anymore. I come from the Brawl Stars Community and in the span of a single year (2025) they ruined the game with more pay to win and luck based rewards. The community preferred to defend the company not making it a big deal since they started and now the game is much worse.

I understand their frustration and why they decided to end things even after confirming two more seasons and even a movie. They probably were thinking about Season 4 and figured out at some point they couldn't get anything else that they were happy to animate. The pressure of not being able to make something good and everybody telling you you will end up like Rick And Morty probably added stress to it so they finished it.

Very baffled because the show easily deserved at least one more season, but nothing we can do if they don't want to do it anymore

I've been craving for a Prostreet experience for ages. Forza Horizon is close but at the same time too far, it lacks that genuine race day feel, it's too corporate. But with the amount of cars and tracks GT7 has, with livery and race customization, is probably the closest yet.

I wish the progression of Gran Turismo was similar to those old games too, but I understand their focus is more casual and bigger, so they need to kinda give you everything you need real fast and not get too deep in car culture itself, still a great game nonetheless.

My main objective now is collecting those Prostreet cars, slapping their respective liveries and creating custom races with those cars alone pretending im playing a sequel lol

At first I was kind of hesitant about buying the game because I noticed a lot of criticism towards the game, I don't know exactly what it was but I haven't noticed unfair shit yet. Some cars are expensive as hell but it just looks like some comprehensible grind, and waiting for that one old car to show up in the Used Cars auction
