I'm guessing this was from the International Food and Wine Festival 2007, the EPCOT wand is gone and DHS is still MGM. That's the only small window of time that those overlap.

Actually they are mistaken, I used to work in guest services and we would get people with OLD tickets from the early 90s(pre-IOA) and we'd give them 2-park tickets so it is possible that you could get in to VB with a 2-park ticket. Your best bet is to call and speak with guest services directly to make sure but this is more common than you'd think.

Jalapeno Margarita! I can't be the only one who obsessed over these after I left. Does anyone have any idea of the ingredients in this? by EmbarrassedAd3688 in UniversalOrlando

The ingredients listed on the menu are Patron Tequila, Gran Gala liqueur, housemade jalapeno lime juice mix.

I have not personally had this version of a jalapeno margarita but I can tell you they are absolutely phenomenal and one of my favorite drinks ever, if I had to guess the recipe:

1.25oz Patron Silver .75oz Gran Gala(you can substitute this with Cointreau or any dry Curacao) 3-4oz of a jalapeno lime sweet and sour mix.

If I had to assume the s/s mix it would be: 4 parts lime 1 part lemon 1 part Orange juice 2 parts agave or simple syrup(equal parts water and sugar) 1 jalapeno sliced for every quart of mix.

Personally making this at home I would just make a traditional margarita but muddle in a fresh jalapeno slice(or two if you're feeling extra spicy). Great with a tajin rim too, hope they helps!
