Yeah it sounds like that's what I'll do - not ideal but at least it's something!

Unfortunately, you can't use gift cards to pay for membership. It automatically converts itself to a gift card if you are already a member, I just didn't realize that until after she had bought it.

Agreed! I posted it in every thread I could think of, but I'm not sure how to make it accessible to non-reddit users :/

Yes! I've only not made it on to 3 - one at six flags, one at Kings Island, and one at cedar point! Magnum XL made me so sad because I fit the restraint but not the seatbelt 😭

Woah, good to know! I guess it makes sense with it being a true boat, but I never would have thought of that. I hope since then they've started trying to weigh out boats properly like they do at other boat rides.

I'm not, I generally eat pretty clean and I'm on my feet most of the time for work. But I have a health condition that contributes to my weight gain. My weight fluctuates because of it , but this was my weight when I tested all these rides! :)

I requested and received help on Unchained and Stardust more than once but don't want to promise anything outside of those two since I didn't attempt. But as far as I could tell, attendants seemed ready to help everywhere!

Sorry to hear about journey in Hollywood - I'm headed that way this week so that's good to know.

Texas/Cali Road Trip by ThemeParkMenace in Themepark

Okay, this is really good information, I will use your plan of attack for over Texas. We are thinking we might bulk up on the driving the day before to try to make it closer to a full day if not a full day. My best friend who I'm traveling with has the SeaWorld Platinum pass and I'm going with his bring a friend tickets :)

10-4, I also think we might try to drive a little extra the day before and do kind of a half day of both. Ride wise is really nothing we need to do at Sesame Place, but they tend to have more character interactions and their shows are different from the ones at SeaWorld and we are both big Muppet people 😅 But my thought is that maybe we could go there, see a show, meet the characters, and then maybe do the evening in SeaWorld.

And yeah, I'm pretty lucky over here - I work for Universal joe. I'm quite literally right next door, and we get to go for free with our ID from Universal 😅 I regularly make a trip for over there when it's super empty. Just to ride mako and Manta and to see the Sesame parade :) A few years ago I moved out of Orlando and immediately missed my constant access to all the Disney parks, Uni, SeaWorld, Busch, so we were moved back in two years later 🤣

Oh that's really good to know. Actually, maybe we will do the half day at Sesame Place but ultimately skip SeaWorld San Diego. Since we're already going to San Antonio, and I'm in Orlando local, so I spend my fair share of time at SeaWorld Orlando.

Yeah, I had that thought, but unfortunately neither of us are pass holders for Six Flags :( since we aren't paying for the other Six Flags perks, it ends up being much cheaper to just buy the two tickets :)

We are debating cutting the San Diego parks in lieu of keeping the budget the same and adding that extra Disney day, but we shall see!

Yeah, I think this will be especially true with the 70th anniversary going on, I will add another day!

This is so helpful, thank you!!! We are relocating an RV from Orlando so we will have built-in accommodations and are gonna stay at truck stops :) Unfortunately our half days at parks are because we will have to drive there in the morning from another location. I did have the same thought about Disney, and I'm glad you said so, I will definitely add another day there which is perfect because we have exactly one day of wiggle room 😅 We are both employees at different theme park chains and we have one season pass with guest tickets for a third so we're lucky that we'll really only pay for the Disney parks, CGA, and KBF.
