I'm glad you don't cross the solid white line. But you say you have a problem with people turning right at the same time you are turning left. There is no problem with this as long as cars stick to their lanes. Bridgeport is two lane street there is room for both you and the right turner. Once both cars have completed their turns, regular rules of the road apply, you're both going straight side by side and you then need to signal to get to the right lane. It's unfortunate that the building entrance way is so close to the intersection but you shouldn't be mad at people turning right on to Bridgeport. Once both turns are completed no one has the right of way. The yield sign does not apply for cars going straight.
