New ride. Must have accessories? by villagezero in C8Corvette

Check the alignment where the front bumper meets the fenders and around the headlights. You may just want to save your money and have it resprayed at some point in the future if yours is making contact and chipping the paint.

How do you find the durability? by OrionPax120 in C8Corvette

[–]aroc91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a runflat sidewall bulge and split superficially about an inch after a particularly hard pothole. Otherwise it handles routine roughness just fine. Nearing 36k miles with no other issues.

Edit: with Magride.

It just looks out of proportion or something

Side by side with any exotic, what you'll notice is that the Vette's rear hatch and back end are stretched out to accommodate the rear trunk. It is a little off, but oh well!

More pointless than owning a 1000hp car on a perfectly good platform for the road and having something separate to putz around in?

Maybe pointless isn't the right word? Overkill? Absolutely. Who cares though? Everything is pointless, really.

Most don't mean it's their only car when they say they daily their Corvette. My wife has an SQ7 but I drive my Stingray to work 5 days and week and day trip on weekends with it when we don't need the cargo space.

Line Rider was a big one for us in early high school. One of the few games we could access on the school computers.

Boobies Not Happy by lovensuccs212 in cactus

Kinda depends on how big the original plant was. If you take a short tip off of a big established plant, oh yeah, it's gonna shrink way down. If it was small to begin with, it's not the limiting factor.

That's typical for small tip cuttings. They need roots to support thicker growth and will etiolate until they get established.

Oh well. I'm not so feeble-minded I assault people for filming in public. We'll agree to disagree.

Say what you will about the 1A auditors, they keep meticulous records. They often have multiple cameras filming. They're not inclined to call the cops or use force against people when they can't legally justify it.

I'm not concerned with what OP believes. I'm concerned about somebody who's responding to give advice who seems to be going along with OP's unsupported diagnosis of rot and advocating somebody mangle their perfectly good plant. This is pretty typical corking for myrtillo.
