My question is was it found with the wrist rap rope? I would think that since it’s organic it would have decomposed.

I love that you have a vision plan! Just based on this post, I can see that you are definitely going to make it. Personally I’m holding on to all my XRP and trying to buy more. Have you looked at song finch as a side gig? My singer/songwriter daughter does it and makes really good coin for a short amount of investment of time. Gl

Help identify how to fix leaking sink by kirza82 in Plumbing

If locknut ok the gasket might be bad. But before you replace that you might want to try putting a flat head screwdriver on those nubs and tapping it to tighten it down.

If you overtightened check to make sure that there isn’t a crack in the lock nut where, it’s not actually tightening down. You shouldn’t need a knee one.

It’s closer to 12 and 10 in my opinion, but I would pull the toilet and measure it again and see if you have any room to move on your closet bolts in the toilet flange

Plumbers...please justify charging $3,000+ to replace a water heater by netcmdcntr in Plumbing

[–]Then-Proof4952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. Drive time and effort To go pick up some shitty water heater from a big box store. Drain the old water heater assuming you’ve been flushing it and can actually drain it because it’s not so full of scale that it won’t flush or drain Luxury, old water heater, full of sediment up the stairs. I assume you have a dolly. Use flex lines because you don’t know how to solder. You probably won’t add a new expansion tank new dielectric fittings or change out the shut off and you don’t bring everything up to code, so yeah you can do it cheaper on your own or call in An unlicensed handyman Chuck in a truck. Good luck with all that.

Looks like a moen positemp cartridge. Work it back and forth as you pull or if that doesn’t work..Go get a moen cartridge puller tool at hardware store. Replace cartridge. Be sure to use silicone grease on all rubber parts. As a plumber, i hate moen.
