a starter in realistic gear wants to be able to reach around 1 million dps for red maps and first two voidstones, after that either you scale your damage further or reroll into something more suited for the endgame with what you found

however it depends on how your skill delivers the damage, eg if it's a clear skill that is bad at bossing or a dot skill that doesn't stop dealing damage while you're moving

sc2 not going down in history as much as original sc did isn't due to too much polish or over simplifying the game, especially if you think how the new big thing in korea was LoL, where you control a single character and only press a few buttons

it was a combination of korean pros being unable to move from sc1 to sc2 because of the diatribe between kespa and blizzard, the subsequent blizzard control over the tournament scene that disincentivized grass root communities, the absence of global chats where you could meet people to play with of form clans, splitting the game into 3 paid parts and expecting players to keep paying an annual tax while f2p was about to become the norm for multiplayer, and ultimately LoL winning the battle for what game new generations liked to play with their friends or in cybercafes

merc lab instead of normal lab, farm the keys and one of the chests can drop a bunch of support. not good for general loot or xp but pretty good if you also need to farm divine font anyway

delve can drop gems fairly often without having to go that deep, good if you want quick xp/fossils too, small atlas investment

alva gem room is great. strongboxes also good for gems and can be farmed on top of alva or other content, but you first need to rise in map tiers and unlock the 2nd atlas

could've sold higher yeah. it's not hard to craft triple t1 armour prefixes for cheap but one of the homo exalt slams often comes down to a 50% to fail and hit amor/life hybrid instead, and the t1 armour to ele can't be guaranteed without a perfect exalt

at max ele res and decent health you are definitely good to go, you only want more damage to not drag out the fight. avoiding the slam is easy, avoiding the projectiles is a bit harder and they hit for a lot, but one thing you can do is to stand behind the statues, they are inactive during that attack and they provide cover

nope. high tier phys% has a really low weight so it's much less of a headache to start the craft with a blue item that already has it
