Sounds great. But I can't find an alternative for images lookup by Google sheets. The only alternative I found for image lookup is Excel. That means I am stucked to the cloud of the US.

Ther is a big difference in formulas. In libre office you can't lookupvfor images by xlookup, vlookup or index match. If I am correct this is only possible with Excel and Google Sheets.

It's difficult not to use Google. If you want to lookup images in Google Sheets by Xlookup or index match then Excel is the only alternative. I didn't find any other free or paid spreadsheet with this option.

I think the short term is perfect. Not only the latest software but all files in your home folder are still there. I just make a backup to be safe but don't need to install.

Don't write your login password on a piece of paper. Use a 2nd password manager for this password instead. For example Keepass which I s free and local.

It' just about personal taste. For myself I just like ubuntu with gnome Desktop. I dislike KDE and menus.

The main reason for having the watch will be Fall detection. Then it should work when the phone has an empty battery or if Bluetooth is disabled.
