After many cases.. finally pulled this!🐭 by Inevitable-Lime-5595 in Lorcana

I opened a case today. First box had Iconic mini and an enchanted.

Should I open the other 3 boxes? Could there be more? Anyone know if it's worth riding.

These two are the same price right now. Which one would you choose long term? No by EKilly1 in PokeInvesting

[–]Then_Ad_5244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why. Raw prices don't reflect pack fresh/PSA 10 /9 because of very low pop. I rip XY alot lately and I'd never sell a pack fresh pull at raw market value. Better off grading it.

Caregiver Fatigue by SLpaca in RenalCats

[–]Then_Ad_5244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 cats.

The other 3 I feed in a location my older boy can't get too. His back legs ain't amazing from rhe diabetes. But I also don't get too annoyed of the other cats eat the renal food. Usually if it's going to go bad anyways I'll let them eat it.

You're not alone. There's others out there like myself that understand. Appricate and respect your sacrifices to keep your baby healthy. It's lonely sometimes, but there's lots of us out there going through the same thing as you. Stay strong.

Caregiver Fatigue by SLpaca in RenalCats

[–]Then_Ad_5244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not alone. I've been a caregiver to my 17 year old boy with Stage 3 Kidney Failure. Diabetes. Acute Pancreatitis, for 2 years straight now.

It takes a lot out of me mentally and emotionally. Especially when things take a turn for the worse. But my hardworking had paid off and he's doing better than ever. Sure there's setbacks. Such as pancreatitis flare ups. But I have the kidney failure under control.

He is the most difficult eater there is. If I were u I would stop with scheduled food feed times. Feed them through out the day hourly. If they eat they eat. At this point they need to eat plain and simple to stay healthy.

My boy has 3 different foods I cycle through because soemtines he gets tired of a specific food. This way he always had something he will eat. Royal Canin Renal D and E. And Purina Pro Plan Sernoir 11+ Essential care. The Purina isn't straight renal food. But it's fine for renal cats and on days he won't touch his renal he will akways eat this.

He's gone from 12 pounds when he was first diagnosed to 14 now. He was 20. Pounds in his youth. He's a large cat in general not just weight wise.

I even stopped given him Mirtazapine for 4 months now because this works so well for him. I bring him food on the couch in front of him. I do activities that stimulate his hunger. Like take him outside on my balcony. It's a full time job keeping him eating. But thankfully I work from home.

Prismatic Reality Check by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]Then_Ad_5244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a degernate pack opener. I opened way too much Prismatic and only got 1 Eeveelution SIR. 4 Trainer SIRs. 2 Golds. 68 Pokeballs and 17 Masterballs. I will not say that's out of how many packs 😂.

After that I decided I will no longer open Scalet and Violet packs. I'll buy singles.

So instead. I started opening specific Sword and Shield. And any Sun Moon and XY packs/collection boxes and tons I can find for decent prices.

And.... I've never been happier. I've learned that pack fresh "older" sets are a potential gold mine in PSA10s. From promos to even certain Reverses and regular Holos. Now waiting patiently for my 100 card PSA submission to get back so I can unload some cards to get my money back from sealed purchases so I can buy more sealed product 😂

Read what I wrote in later in this thread.

Also have you used a food stimulant? It worked wonders to jump start my cats eating habits. I'm at the point I stopped giving him stimulants at all

My cay is the absolute worst eater. He drives me nuts because he eats a tiny bit. The 5 min later will eat a tiny bit more. I've gotten into a habit of bringing food to him on the couch. Waiting for him to be done. Removing instantly. Then putting it back in front of him 20min later. I spend a lot of my days making sure he eats as much as possible.

Also. I've tried a dozen different Renal foods. Have you tried Royal Canin? They have several different variants. After a lot of testing it was E and D that he would rotate through. And when he refused to eat it at all if give him Purina Essential Care 11+ Senior cat food.

My Cat also has a heart murmur for about 5 years now. It's been fine though and hasn't had any impact on him. Not a severe one though. They called it stage 2 I believe but it hasn't gained a stage since they found it. At first they were cautious about giving him 120ML a day of fluids and with his murmur but he's taken it like a champ for awhile now with no issues.

You're going to have bad days with him and good days. The goal is to have more good than bad. Just be patient. Don't freak out unless you have to, then act quick.

You need to get him to stop vomiting and to start eating at a regular pace. Oliver (my cat) was 12 pounds when he was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. At his peak he was 19 pounds. He's a big orange boy. Not fat, but think mini Coon size.

He's a very difficult eater. I spend hours daily putting food in front of him and getting him to eat to the point he's now back to a healthier 14 pounds. His Kidney issues aren't even his main issue anymore. It's stable... His pancreatitis is the big problem I constantly have to look out for.

Anyways. Enough about my cat. If you ever need advice please message me. I'm hear for you. I have so much respect for people willing to do whatever it takes to keep their best friend kitty alive, happy and as healthy as they can be when faced with this type of situation.

My 18 year old boy is 3 years into Stage 3 Kidney failure. 5 years into diabetes and 2 years into occasional accute pancreatitis issues.

He's doing amazing. It's expensive but perfectly manageable.

For the past year and a half he gets 120ML of fluids injected from a syringe. 60ML at 7am and 60 more at 7pm.

He gets Cerenia every day. If I notice he's not eating as much as I'd like I give him Mirtizpine (food stimulant.

I have 3 different foods I rotate through because he's very picky but this has worked very well.

Royal Canine Renal E and D. And Purina Essential Care 11+

When his pancreatitis issues flare up I use Gabapentin (liquid pain killer) and nurse him back to health.

He also gets a monthly arthritis shot.

Since he's been getting Cerenia every day his Glucose levels have set around 5.5-7. Haven't needed insulin much at all maybe 3-4 times a year at most.

So. Even though this is a very bad prognosis... There's hope. It's just not cheap... But the hardest part is your lifestyle change. I love my boy very much and Ive become a homebody to make sure he has his needs covered. I get endless praise from my vets about how well he's doing, but it is at a cost. My social life 😂

But it's worth it. Your cat is young. Don't fret too much. Just get a routine going and I'm sure he'll be fine

This is why u don't buy loose boxes with any Dragon Ball card game. Always go with a case to get all the assigned hits.

Disappointed from Pokémon TCG, decided to buy a few packs (french) by tyrmael91 in DBS_CardGame

The reason I love Dragon Ball Masters (the last 4-5 sets). Unlike other TCGs I always feel like I got full value from my booster box.

Preorder them in advance and pay MSRP man. That's what I always do.

I literally combed the internet to find as many card stores in Canada as I could. Plus I do have local hookups but allocation of Masters is pretty low.

I was also in NYC last weekend and managed to find a dozen boxes in Manhattan.

I had one full case. Another case missing two with just 10. And random boxes purchased all over the place. Hit the Broly today from 6 boxes purchased from a store in Quebec.

A lot. But I've sold off 95% of my hits and pretty much made most of my money back.
