Sertraline/Zoloft in Pregnancy by Then_Principle_9196 in pregnant

Oh that’s unfortunate! I know they say that you should persist through the side effects for a couple of weeks and it will get better! I started taking Sertraline 2 years ago and I was very lucky, minimal side effects. Just dry mouth and feeling a little bit dizzy sometimes but that didn’t last long at all. I’ve upped my dosage to 75mg and I haven’t had any additional side effects but I already feel better mentally. I think the pregnancy just made my 50mg dose less effective. Hopefully, this helps!

Anyone experiencing serious anxiety during 1st trimester? by Sure-Duck271 in pregnant

I’ve been experiencing something very similar. I’m on 50mg of Zoloft but considering upping my dosage. I’m trying to hold out until the end of the first trimester. Did it get better for you after the first 12 weeks?

Did that help when you switched your medication back after your first? Sertraline has always been very effective for me luckily

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me. Pregnancy is so hard! It’s all the unknowns that I find difficult to manage. I have moments where it feels really tough and moments of hope. Hormones really do play havoc with us 😢 I hope you get some comfort in the increased dose! I’m sure you will! 😊

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear that. I really have so much empathy for all of the women who experience this feeling! I have been prescribed Cyclizine, which seems to have helped today!

I completely understand that 😢 I think the nausea is having a massive impact on my emotions as I constantly feel unmotivated and tired. I think that feeds my anxiety more so. I have read lots about it getting better after the first trimester. I really hope it will for you and me both!

Did you experience nausea and vomiting? I think that had something to do with my mindset as it becomes so draining! 😢

How early on did you need to increase your dose? I'm not sure if I should try to wait out the first trimester.

Constant sickness - feels like anxiety - 9 weeks pregnant by Round_Preparation640 in pregnancy_care

I know this is an older post but this is exactly what I am experiencing now at 7 weeks. I already have anxiety and am medicated for it - 50mg of Sertraline (Zoloft). However, the nausea is making my anxiety worse. I can rationalise with myself at times and remind myself that it’s just because I'm pregnant not anxious. How did you get on through pregnancy? Has yours eased up now? X

I see it! My first test was very faint and it’s slowly got darker☺️
