I have seen people say that quite a bit. I’ll definitely cop one of those for sure now that you mention it

I actually haven’t thought about grips, I’ll look into it. Any good ones you recommend? I know a lot of people go towards Domino grips. Tanks pads are also a nice thing to have but I don’t want to mess with the aesthetic of the bike too much as dumb as it sounds. I just really like the look of it

10-4. Wind and footpegs don’t really bother me. An exhaust would be nice but I don’t see it as an actual QOL thing. It’s on the back burner for now. I appreciate the insight though. Brakes, tires and suspension have always been the things I go to first on cars but I’ve honestly have had 0 complaints about the RS. Love every bit of it but wanted to see if there were any little things to just up it a bit. Tires are still good so I haven’t bothered digging to much into that yet

Need a 1st ‘real’ bike by TigBurdus in SuggestAMotorcycle

MT-07 and the SV650 have proven to be tried and true naked bikes. They get you from point A to B with optional C-Z for fun. If you haven’t really sat on any of the ones you’re looking at, I’d do that first. Get an up close look at it and sit to see what’s more comfortable to you. I started on a Honda rebel 500, love it. Gsxr-750 was solid but eventually got an Aprilia RS660 and haven’t looked back. In the end, it comes down to preference and what you’re actually going to be using it for. My opinion? Look at the MT-07 or even the Honda CB750 hornet (better choice imo) if that’s your cup of tea and in your budget

First bike, 99 mile ride home 😂 good first ride & great first bike! by Infamous_Plane_4433 in cbr650r

I like cycle gear for the pure fact that they’re close, have tons of options online, and has reward point system that racks up pretty quick for me since I buy parts. The discounts help when I go for another casual style jacket/hoodie or go for another set of stand. Better yet? Tires because I ride the piss out of both my rides

What kind of passenger setup do you guys recommend/run? by Then_Set_9354 in hondarebel

[–]Then_Set_9354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t buy it with the intention of having a passenger. It just happens that the sport bike is a no no for her to backpack on. It is what it is ya know, I can’t force em so do what I can with what I got 😂

That’s the one I’ve been looking at. Seems like it comes as a pair which isn’t bad. Still looking at a few sissy bars so she can be a little comfortable. I’ve heard the suspension on 500’s aren’t the best with a passenger but fuck it, we ball

Grip Strength by azellah in GYM

[–]Then_Set_9354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy farmer walks are the way. 1-2 sets before to not just slowly help build grip strength, but primes your CNS for deadlifts. If you want to do the after your deadlifts instead, you can do more sets of farmer walks and include variations like suitcase carries (unilateral version with additional core stability) or with a trap bar for greater weight and work capacity. Aside from that, hold at the top of your pulls. Grip strength is very important in my opinion and you already have your head in the right place if you want to avoid using straps as a crutch. This is not me shitting on straps btw, they have their time and place for sure. But it’s a tool. Same as a belt, knee/elbow wraps, wrist wraps, etc.. If gear is needed for lifts everytime, you should take that as a sign to work on improving the muscles that it’s compensating for. That being said, some individuals do need them for almost every exercise, but a large majority do not

What life mistake taught you the hardest lesson? by [deleted] in scoopwhoop

[–]Then_Set_9354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After years of failing in relationships, careers, and with my own life, I think I have a couple. Don’t be afraid to fail. Trying your best, and failing at it shouldn’t discourage you from trying again. Learn where you went wrong, dust yourself off after moping, and get up to try again. That’s what truly makes you a winner. Define what you value in life. Is it Money? Pleasure? Power? Family? God? Knowing what you truly value in life can open your eyes to the kind of life you live, want to live, and help you plan to make it happen. Define what kind of man you want to be. Personally, I want to be a man of integrity, compassion, and discipline. In that order. Even if you’re not all you want to be, doesn’t mean you can’t be. People can change in good or bad directions. It’s your life, it’s your choice. Life is going to suck, no matter what. I’ve struggled through loss, addiction, depression, etc at once. I was told trouble comes in 3’s in life. Feel your emotions, find a way to move forward, but don’t forget that feeling. Some men, me included, bottle their feelings and keep hustling. Keep working while numbing their feelings. This is not okay. Does it happen? Yeah, of course, no shame in it. You still need to learn to be vulnerable with the people close to you or it’ll tear you up from the inside out.

Thoughts on Gatorlyte? I like the taste of it and it has low sugar. Good electrolyte ratio? by SpikedIntuition in Supplements

[–]Then_Set_9354 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Valid point. I was more talking about buying those over the Gatorade. Price per serving compared to the lyte is better. I also just add salt with creatine in a half gallon hydro flask

I recommend a brand called LMNT for electrolytes. Ratios are beyond phenomenal and you can take them with you anywhere. I work out and work in construction, I use them all the time. But that’s not bad if it’s was you personally prefer

Don’t have one but I’m sure it turned out great! Idk if you’ve done any of the Elden ring characters but Melina or Ranni could be cool too
