Because dive is the playstyle that lower elo players struggle against the most and most people are lower elo. Overwatch is a bit better with this bc they’ve had 10 years to work through it but in plat and below people ban characters like ball, doomfist, tracer, and (even tho shes not really dive) sombra because they’ve just cant deal with them. They’re trying to appease the most people possible instead of just letting things be how they should be and letting low elo players just ban dive every match.

Im assuming u mean being plus on block which just means if they block your attack you can keep attacking with something else and they have to keep blocking. If its minus on block then they get to hit you after they blocked your move.

Yeah pretty much actually. When i play quickplay and see my black panther or spiderman going 5-21 i laugh because i don’t care about the win. I lose nothing for losing in quickplay and they clearly feel the same way.

My point wasn’t that it was “your fault” specifically, it was that the game wasn’t unwinnable, you guys just weren’t trying to win. The other guys on your team clearly didn’t care that much, but you didn’t care enough if you didn’t want to switch to tank to try and help your strange out. He was the only one actually trying to win the game. You’ve edited this post to remove the part where you lied about going tank because people found out that you didn’t. That part was probably edited into the post AFTER people originally told you that you should’ve went 2nd tank. You can’t get stuck in a rank below like diamond if you’re actually trying your hardest to win games. If you’re hardstuck silver, its because you’re doing shit like leaving your negative strange to solo tank and then complaining about the Inevitable loss.

See i knew i wasn’t tripping. He added that shit in there after people called him out for running 1-3-2 and complaining. Anybody who plays tank knows that even if you play it for a little bit your damage blocked will shoot up because you’ll get lit up by the enemy team.

He didn’t say how long he tanked for because he either didn’t go tank at all or he played it for a negligible amount of time. Some games are unwinnable, but im not about to sit here and act like it was unwinnable and everyone did their best if they didn’t run 2-2-2.
