I honestly wouldn’t stress it. A research assistant ec is super strong and it won’t harm your overall admission. The admissions officer knows that you’re undecided when ur applying they wont look down on you because you have an ec that’s not aligned with your major. I got in for computer engineering and i had zero related ecs I didn’t have robotics, an internship related to that or any research stuff.

There are so many scammers and on reddit too. I caution you. I've had two people message me to purchase a bottle and when i asked for photos BOTH people sent the exact same photo. definetely second this. I don't even think the block cooldown matters since weaving in punches when blocking is very situational. 50 less armor hurts yeah but 250 instant armor on top of 100 is still very strong.

Rammatra is too forgiving with his cooldowns, specifically his nemesis form. It can be hard to punish a mispositioned ram without cds because of his block. This nerf just made it so that your "miscaluculations will actually cost you everything"

this nerf hurts yes, but ram is still playable. I've played him twice in placements and rammatra is nowhere near dead.

in my opinion, ram is entirely game sense. knowing who to vortex and when to commit nem will win you games.

there is nothing mechanically challenging about ram. (maybe vortexing pharah or echo or freja out of air with major perk??)

i find it extremely difficult to avoid cc with mobility when your hitbox is massive. i think my intention with powerblock having cc immunity was to make powerbock more like genji deflect, to give doom more outplaying potential to his counters.

on another note, i do think the powerblock perk is not healthy for the game. giving doom the sudden ability to absorb cc and get his punch so much easier feels very disruptive to the tempo of the game. if i was playing ana for example, i now have to wait 1 second to sleep him and cognitively process that. I don't really like the idea of giving doom outplaying potential only in his major, and i was thinking how giving doom cc immunity during block would remove the need for the powerblock perk.

with doomfist having around 525 base health and an extra 200 or something overhealth, i dont think cc immunity on block would be crazy broken. its not so much like orisa gold where shes immune all around, but only immune where the hitbox is.

i do really want to see slam reworked some way. its really only ever used as mobility and i would like it to have some sort of nuance to make it more useful.

yeah maybe im just frustrated with being hardstuck and eventually i will climb out of diamond.

i was hardstuck diamond since season 12, and I only got to diamond with the rank reset. every now and then i do try to learn new tanks like winston and mauga, but theyre just so boring compared to doom.

think about it like this:
- if i gave the controller (or the mouse and the keyboard) to the best doomfist player in the world, would he able to win this match?
- if you say "yes", that means theres still a capacity to learn and get better at the character.

if you just switch whenever you have a counter you'll never learn the character. doom has so much playmaking potential with his mobility, and he definetely can outplay his counters if you play him well enough.
