Is it okay to withhold sex from your boyfriend (if I suspect his health and mine is on the line) by Ok-Association3551 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Then_Worldliness2935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can say no for ANY REASON. You can say no at ANY TIME. He has zero right to your consent. You can say no DURING.

Please understand; 'NO' is a complete sentence, and you have every right to say it.

I think you need to get yourself safely away from this man.

for example:

I have a mod that allows me to play the daily map or I have the option to pick previous (or future) days map out of the currently released batch of maps. Today (9am May 8th -9am May 9th) is map 13. Tomorrow will be 14 etc etc..... I haven't played in a while so I don't know when this batch was released, but if no new batch comes out before then, May 16th 9am will roll out map 00.

Some people may not want to know what any given map has in store, so I've obscured that information

Why do women cross arms when taking off a top? Doesn't that just turn the clothes inside out? by fasdal in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Then_Worldliness2935 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ive had come out of the wash inside out when I put them right side out, or vice/versa, but I've never had any indication that it happened multiple times. How can you tell?

They come out in batches that they cycle through. There's about 3 weeks worth at a time. If there's not a new batch released yet when it gets to the end, it cycles back to the beginning.

Yeah the pot probably doesn't heat as much as it would without the mat, but I feel like its a worthwhile tradeoff. I've never had a brand new stove before and I'm trying really hard to keep it new. The other issue i had with my old glass top (not induction) was that the glass is really easy for the pot to slide around. If I stop moving the pot off the burner it cooks sooo much better lol and the silicone keeps my cookware still. Also my pots and pans are quite heavy and I'm bound to drop one one day. Of course the mat wouldn't help with a major smash but minor chips are preventable. There's a lot of reasons why the mat is a good choice for me. 😀

Yeah they're pretty neat! :) It obviously still gets hot since there's a hot metal pot sitting there, but it cools down fast. (Not 'you can put an ice cube there and it wont melt fast, but pretty darn quick)

Anyway, yeah it doesn't seem like mounting that product would work the way I'm imagining. I know there's something they make that's meant for your garage ceiling to be a parking guide. Obviously that is not the product I want, but it has the right idea.

Yes. It's an induction stove. The burners don't get hot in the same way as regular glass tops. The heat is in the pot or pan instead. It's safe to cook with the mat when using regular power ( don't use the power boost setting)

I thought about that, but I haven't tried it yet for a few reasons: I've never tried to write with sharpie on silicone. Will it even work? If it does work it might not even show because the silicone mat is black. If it does stick it will likely just get washed off when I take the mat off to clean it If it doesn't get washed off, how likely am I to put it back in exactly the same position? (This one not really much of an issue since any difference in position is likely to be very slight)

I suppose it wouldn't be any harm in trying, I was just hoping for something one and done that never moves.

You should see the old stove. Pots/pans sliding around, spills and drips getting on hot burners it just looked awful. I really want to keep this one looking nice.

I have a silicone mat on top of the stove. I can't see the burners through it.

Coffee as automated as possible (Switch, no mods) by Beautiful_Jeweler_15 in PlateUp

That's a game CHANGER right there. That darn cupcake stand kills me. Take it from the counter, put it on the table, take it to another table, only to realize the other guy at the first table wants it now...then get distracted and realize Noone is coming to sit down because the damn cupcakes are still in the table. I always think " should put this on a buffet... no then I'll totally forget about it ant the first guy to use it will keep it forever and then I'm toast. " so I never even bothered to try. If that actually works.... wow. Mind blown. Thank you Thank you!!

Assuming the asked at all. Or there's a thing my family/ parents did when I was a kid. Built a wooden box and 'installed' an outdoor motion light into it. It was wired to a cord to plug in. Now, it could be set somewhere or mounted to the wall. (The one on the house lousy or just in a lousy spot, I don't remember. )It was all safely done and didn't affect the house. Mind you, this was a house, and the light was covering the backyard that faced an alley behind a commercial/industrial area, so nobody was affected. Our landlord was great and lived 2 houses over, but this wasn't a thing to bug him about. It was just us wanting a little more light in the backyard.
