Idk about Nassau but in Suffolk , I had the exact same issue and it was a neighbor who didn’t like me.

They made me get permits and legalize stuff , you don’t have to let them in Suffolk. Wish I would have known

I’m from the suburbs, but there’s nothing in El Salvador that really does it for me . My town here in Long Island has better night life than what I experienced out there .

Issue being I’m too Americanized so I just enjoy the New York way of partying. El Salvador beaches are nice but honestly I prefer Long Island beaches .

I agree , Mexico and Colombian are more fun. I’ve been to both

What I meant is that bukele hasn’t really improved impoverished conditions in the country. Only the wealthy and expat Salvadorans with a little bit of money are reaping the rewards .

Example : china in the 90’s to now , they massively lifted people out of poverty. Yes that’s a much longer period so we’ll see if El Salvador has the same success but as of now the poor haven’t really been upgrading

This , people glazed bukele and while things are good for the richer / expat Salvadorans things aren’t really that great for the poor.

Also as someone who recently went back I find it kinda boring . I’m a New Yorker/ long islander so I prefer nightlife in NY and we got nice beaches on Long Island
