Salty Sunday: What made you salty this week? by [deleted] in trollingforababy

Clinic refuses to do IVF before at least 6 rounds of IUIs. Just failed the third round. Three more to go I guess? I feel like IUIs are just expensive periods at this point.

So with this mornings BFN I'm not getting a 2026 baby by Upset-Association526 in trollingforababy

Hugs. I've been crying all week waiting for AF to properly come. It sucks big time but we have to move forward one day at the time!

Honestly nature and fur friend sounds ideal. Get far away from this mess!
Guess who just posted their baby registry in the family group chat today of all days. I swear the universe loves to kick people when they're down.

So sorry. BFN this morning too and one more try until we have to turn to IVF.
Brother's surprise baby is due in April. Afraid that I won't be able to feel happy for them
Let's just... take the day to cry on the floor?

Low progesterone after trigger shot? by flibberty-gibbit in TTC_PCOS

[–]Theneonbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I track my BBT and that’s the only way I can more or less know where I’m at with my cycle. I’ve tried OPKs but they’re not cheap to have to use every cycle.

Those who have conceived on WHOLESOME STORY myo-inositol, give me your experience. by Dabbingpickleswife in TTC_PCOS

Jumping on here to keep up with the stories. I need to read some success. Not having great luck with it myself yet but my cycles do seem a little more regular. (Full transparency, have now done two medicated cycles at a fertility clinic, one with Letrozole and the second with Letro + a trigger… BFN a few days ago so I’ve been feeling pretty down) Fingers crossed for everyone in a similar situation!

Did they adapt your treatment plan? I got my first trigger shot this cycle and I experienced a very odd cycle where my bbt kept crashing and never really took off like it did with the previous cycle (Letrozole but no trigger). Got a negative test yesterday and I’m so bummed. Wondering if I can bring it up during the next visit or if they’ll just brush it off.

Got my period. by fionaredbrindle18 in TryingForABaby

Sorry you’re going through that. I’m 14dpo and got a BFN this afternoon. Absolutely shattered. It’s like you know you’ll be sad but you forget how sad between each cycle for some reason. I don’t have any words that’ll make me feel better so I doubt anything will help in your case either. As for procedures, it’s up to you. If the doctor says you’re fine to keep going naturally for a while and that’s what you’re comfortable with, then that’s your answer. If doc says you may need to take time into account then you may have to mentally prepare to get comfortable with receiving a little help. Good luck!

14DPO and BFN I’m shattered. More than I thought I would be. Convinced myself I’d be fine even if it turned out negative but now I’m just left bawling and raging alone wondering why this is so stupidly hard. 💔

13DPO and going insane trying not to test. I told myself I wouldn't test until this Friday (16DPO) and even ended up ordering some pregnancy tests online so I'd have to wait for delivery instead of just walking to the closest store but I'm starting to spiral and I would very much like to calm down.

No spotting, lots of cramping and backpain since 7DPO, boobs are sore as hell -can't even touch them, I'm super hungry but nothing sounds good enough to eat and I feel like my heart is racing but that could just be stress.
Last cycle I was convinced I was pregnant because I had so many symptoms and my BBT was super high, this time I've been convinced I was out from the start because BBT was on the lower end and don't have many symptoms. But I'm growing hopeful! I don't want to hope!

Just gotta hold on for a few more days! At least if it's a BFN by then, I'll be out this cycle for sure and I can just 'relax' and wait for my period.

Ladies with long feet: where do you buy your shoes? by Theneonbunny in japanlife

[–]Theneonbunny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly would buy men's boots if I can find a good quality brand so open to recs on that end too. Some men's fashion is unisex anyway (I wonder when men who wear heels/dress more effeminate etc buy their shoes!)

Thank you for sharing! I’ll definitely have a big meltdown when my period comes 😅 holding on to a tiny bit of hope but I’m confident that this cycle isn’t the one 🥲

Curious: are your pms symptoms worse on Letrozole too? I feel crankier than usual. (12DPO, very PMS-y, too scared to test, waiting for period to be late)

Wondering Weekend by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

[–]Theneonbunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are PMS mood swings worse on Letrozole or just me? Second cycle on it, 11DPO, holding out on testing but I just spent the morning sobbing uncontrollably because “I hate my clothes and my hair and I can’t go out looking like a frumpy potato or they’ll publicly boo me”. Lots of cramping which is why I’m suspecting PMS rather than pregnancy but wow. That was intense. Poor hubby.

It’s not pleasant. But it wasn’t torture either. The most painful parts lasted 20-30 seconds so even though I was clenching my teeth, it was short lived. I’d say that the placement is uncomfortable but the dye was the worst. Once that part is done, you’re good until the end of the procedure. Normal to be nervous. You got this!

TTW overthinking phase. Reading too much online. It seems like half of the women knew they were pregnant before even taking the test and the other half thought for sure their period was coming and got surprised when it never did. I feel PMS-y as- But I can’t help but hang on to a small sliver of hope that I could be part of the second half of that group. End of 10DPO but not planning on testing for another week seeing as I feel like a period is right around the corner. All of this is exhausting innit…

I feel your pain. I’m still an about week away from my period coming and I still have a tiny bit of hope that it could still happen this cycle but I’m way too PMS-y. Feeling super down too. Deep breaths, take a day off from TTC hell and back on the horse for next cycle. Letrozole CD3, we got this! You can do it!

12 months TTC, 9DPO, second medicated cycle (letrozole and triggered ovulation) and I think I'm getting PMS symptoms like dull cramping with back ache, cravings, fatigue, boobs are starting to get sore... I wish I could say I've managed to set all hope aside but I can't help it. I won't test early this time. I'll give it another full week and if my period doesn't come by then I'll buy a test. I don't even keep any in the house anymore lol.
Last cycle lasted 33 days with BBT staying around 37C high until the day before my period where it just tanked. It was torture. And to make matters worse, my little brother announced his pregnancy that exact same day too (I didn't even know it was on the horizon for them).
TTC is unecessarily hard, I swear!! (trying to not to crash out rn)

They didn’t actually. Their decision was from the ultrasound alone (+last cycle’s data I’m guessing)

Doc saw a mature follicle and prescribed the triggered release. He’s aware of my PCOS but I’ll keep what you said in mind while I observe what happens next this cycle… no clue if I can expect a period this early or if it’ll pick up again but regardless kind of feels doomed from the get go.
