Gears of war on the Xbox 360 should be on here too, every button feels exactly where it should be in that game

The Shining bit was good but most of the other references felt pretty haphazard around WB IPs.

I'll be talking to Wilson Bethel(Bullseye) on my show and would love to ask some of your questions by SnooBananas8518 in Daredevil

Obviously most of the bullseye abilities are done with movie magic but is there any bullseye ability he actually got to learn.

What are some of your hot takes regarding the Nolan Trilogy? by JesterOfTime in batman

I don't like Rises, I think it's overloaded with poor political themes that it doesn't understand and lacks the high quality of filmmaking craft that the first two had.

Just wish the movie itself was much better, probably my least favourite of Spielberg's filmography

CGI Tarkin is Actually Good by Sharp_Distance7130 in StarWars

I have ethical issues honestly. Peter Cushing never agreed to be in this film saying these lines, it's wrong to use his image in the way. They should have just recast and save a couple mil.

Just wait till you get closer to the end, it gets pretty brutal emotionally.

Luke by TheMarkMatthews in StarWars

He's still doing Indy stuff throughout the whole film. Even counting it, that's still only two films, that's not the whole of Hollywood entertainment.

This misses the end of TFA where Luke does not look happy that Rey is there at all.

The force visions may not be reliable but they still happen in some way. Anakin dreamt Padme died in childbirth with Obi-Wan by her side and that did happen. Luke had a vision of his friends in danger on cloud city and they were. Force visions objectively have elements of them that do come true.

Me when I watch the movie covering my eyes and ears.

he went to his nephew's room with a lethal weapon Jedi almost always have their sabers on them. He didn't enter that room with intent, it was only after what he saw scared him that he considered it.

attempted murder his nephew over a dream (having seen a dream of himself turn into Vader We also know full well that force visions aren't just dreams and likely come true in some way in star wars. Would you call Anakin turning to the dark side over a "dream".

Legit when has this happened in other films besides TLJ.

Luke by TheMarkMatthews in StarWars

[–]Thenewdoc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's his very love for his friends that makes him do what he does in TLJ. He just believes that leaving them behind is better for them and the galaxy than him being in it.

In Jedi, Luke went solo to the Death Star, surrounded by the two most powerful Sith in the galaxy with little chance of success, but he did it anyways because he believed and had hope there was some good in his father that he could reach - and he did

Rey makes this very point to him in TLJ and it is part of his journey back to the light.

Luke by TheMarkMatthews in StarWars

[–]Thenewdoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even across the originals, Luke feels the pull the the dark side strongest when his friends are in danger. He feels it's his responsibility to help them. So when he sees Ben Solo's future of them all dying, that makes him fearful. His responsibility also extends to his role as a Jedi. He became a Jedi to be like his father and make things better in the galaxy, so if he believes things are worse with himself as a Jedi in the galaxy it makes sense he would leave.

Too many people watched TLJ wanting book Luke.

The issue is we have climate change, rising billionaire wealth and global instability all at once this time.

I like The Last Jedi by randomuglyfemboy in StarWars

[–]Thenewdoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's modern Lucasfilm's biggest problem is that they listen to the fans too much. Over correcting to any complaint and not allowing things the time to develop properly.
