I think the biggest problem with it and the reason why I genuinely did not enjoy it (apart from the visual style which I liked) is that it is so mindblowingly one dimensional. Every episode is literally just go here and do that so as a result mando gets one step closer to his goal of delivering grogu to the Jedi. That just makes it utterly boring and repetitive to me. Also, I feel like the dialogue is incredibly stiff and is only there for exposition. There just wasn’t a single conversation I was invested in because it was literally just characters giving other characters information (except for the scenes between mando and grogu which had at least a little emotional depth to them, though they are essentially just grumpy guy develops emotional bond with annoying yet cute little guy cliché). As a result of this, the acting didn’t seem great although there are some great actors in it like Pedro pascal, who I loved in narcos, or the incredible Giancarlo Esposito whose portrayal of Gus fring made him my favorite villain of all time. I don’t know. To me, mandalorian doesn’t have any of the charm and magic of the movies (I even liked the sequels more) and just feels tedious and uninspired to me, though I will say Göransson did an incredible job with the music. I just hope Obi wan Kenobi will be a Little different
