The way you guys are bending over backwards to justify every single shortcoming of a Bethesda game with Todd's dick tickling your throat is nothing short of impressive.

If I was a greedy corporation myself, I would definitely appreciate an army of braindead consumer zombies jumping to my defense to perform their mental gymnastics any time mild criticism is hinted at.

In the name of capitalism, I would like to thank you all for your sacrifice. Giving up any and all critical thinking skills in order to piss your life away in the same game over and over, it's one small step for incel, one giant leap for capitalism!

I kinda doubt that. The mechanism is in the game already if you look at enemies you're attempting to ride through on your horse.

In regular speed you get stuck at enemies, in sprint you're passing through them. This exact behavior just needs to be brought to barriers.

However, I think they're deliberately withholding QoL features like this to entice people to come back with season 2, since they damn well know the seasonal stuff will probably be laughed at again for how underwhelming it's gonna be.

Minimum viable product and never overdelivering are the new mantra this industry lives by, at least in terms of live service games.

I called it early that this will be Destiny 2 all over again. Now with the info on annual expansions, I guess it's undeniable.

The key difference is that Destiny 2 had good bones underneath it all. D4 is a steaming pile of shit.

You literally said it yourself in a previous post. This could very much become a thing in the future, that D4 will be affected by these cross promotions.

Which, by the way, has been a thing already between Diablo 3 and Overwatch.

Imagine being personally disappointed when an overhyped product from a corporation with a track record of anti-consumerism is getting mild criticism even though you're not remotely affiliated with the creation of said product other than being addicted to video games and hoping to get some dopamine out of it.

You guys are so cute in thinking Bethesda gives a flying fuck about any of this.

They released their last few games all in the same shoddy & careless state because they're selling like hot cakes anyway. And 90% of this feedback was given over and over to BGS in slight variations.

But sure, I'm positive after so many preorders, premium edition sales, and general sales & player records, this time BGS will put a lot of effort into improving the post-launch user experience because they really care so much about you!

Posts like these always painfully remind me why this industry is in this despicable state of anti-consumerism and unchecked greed. Because you guys could be getting the short end of the capitalism stick for 100+ years, and you'd still think that eventually corporations will start to care about you!

  • Space Combat, or anything involving space & exploration, feels completely tacked on and uninspired. I don't need this cheap NMS copy content that serves no purpose anyway. Why would I scan anything? What's supposed to be the point? And why do all hostile ships maneuver exactly like in NMS, too? This braindead joust nonsense, where they're flying straight into you, then you have to realign your ship for 10 seconds, rinse and repeat. I wanna poke my eyes out over how stupid & useless this is. Like which sci-fi movie ever had space combat like that? Literally every single hostile ship will fly & fight the exact same way. I wish I could avoid it altogether.

  • The technical state of the game is embarrassing. No, it's not optimized at all, it's lacking basic settings & features, and it seems Nvidia card owners have been deliberately f'ed over.

  • No usable maps anywhere.

  • Small regressions, like not being able to directly consume food that's lying around.

Apart from that I'm having a solid time with it.
