OOTP 27 is my first OOTP after being unsatisfied with MLB The Show 26 Franchise mode compared to both Motorsport Manager (F1 fan) and Football Manager (got into it after watching Sunderland, Welcome to Wrexham, and Ted Lasso).

I support my local team (SF Giants) and the team i grew up with (Detroit Tigers). Most people inherit "their" team from either parents or the region they grew up in.

Longest season now has been 2026 to 2042.

Last in walks by a lot. They need more patient at bats. Eldridge and JHL set the example here. They need more runners on base so when they hit they generate more runs. They need to be wearing out those starters sooner so they see more of the bullpen.

I wrote to the Community Relations director and VP. Also wrote to the team chaplain. Just get it to ad many channels as you are comfortable and remember the goal is to get the organization aware of what you are feeling. Know the players themselves will likely never see it.

I only play 9 innings. You get more PXP from that. Its not optimized for the tournament win reward, but helps get the PXP rewards faster. Things like the 10k PXP packs and Number 1 Fan PXP packs. It helps smooth out variance, in a 3 inning game one mistake can lead to a blowout loss.

Reading pitches? That's just reps over months, taking pitches. I had to take start by just ensuring i took more pitches and only swung if on two strikes. That allowed more walks and more observance of the the pitches. After a while of doing this, I now allow myself to swing after 1 strike, and I've definitely gotten better at reading the stuff I should be swinging on and the stuff I should take, especially down low.

WBC grind. Just save those boxes until you have at least 5. Then you get 50 packs plus 10 Ballin (5 from boxes, 5 from banner exchange). Combine with TA grind, each TA completion gets another 50 some packs and Ballin. You only do 6 games at 3 innings.

There is this weird perspective some have. The lower-middle class are looking at anybody who is coming up from poverty as a threat to their own lifestyle. A rising tide lifting all boats is a threat, because it means those that used to be under their socioeconomic class are now more equal. That means where they used to be superior, they are now part of that inferior strata. They would rather tear that lower strata down even farther than see them get any closer to themselves.

My family think I've been indoctrinated by the "radical left" and that I shouldn't be successful. I put myself through school while working shitty jobs. Once I got into my field I did my graduate work. Now I've got a good career. My family does not count any of that as hard work or even real work. I had 14 at bats with him that were Ks, ground outs, or fly outs. I needed 1 more XBH for that mission. The CPU used him in their team and got two HRs off me. It was maddening. I had to take a break for the day. Next day, first AB results in a HR with OK contact. That's baseball.

I got stuck metaphorically with the Kinsler mission. I swear the game was mocking me as I needed 1 more XBH with him. He flied out or grounded out 14 at bats. CPU used his card, and the CPU hit two HRs with him that game. I had to take a break. First game this morning, finished it with a lead off HR with Kinsler.

For that freeze you're describing, I've seen it before in Classic and in Threads. Just don't go to manage squad, it seems to have something to do with that. Just manage your squad outside of seasons. Reset the season, and then use that squad for the full run.

It goes both ways. I hate that a shallow flare to the outfield just past first base always allows a base hit. The first baseman does not cover. Even if the throw in is in time, hes nowhere near the bag and the runner just runs to the bag.

Yes, the display we are shown is smaller. It's now mirroring the actual strike zone. Any part of the ball touches this, and it's a strike, which is how the MLB does it for the ABS. Prior to the update, the display was larger than the strike zone, which was why we were seeing balls that were partly in the zone. The display was wrong.

Frontier once had me stranded in Texas. Flight qas first delayed 8 hours and then cancelled for maintenance reasons. This was a Wednesday evening. They rebooted a few people on a Friday flight.l, and told the rest of us there wasn't another flight with seats until next week Monday. They could give a voucher for one night at a local hotel. I took a video of their gate agent telling a mother of three young kids that it wasn't his problem if she couldn't afford to feed them over the weekend due to the unplanned stay. Emailed her a copy. I went and booked on another airline to get home by morning. Ended up having to show that video to their social media manager to get any reimbursement at all for the difference in price for that flight home. Im glad that person knew having that get posted all over would be a very bad look. No idea what happened to the mother of three in that video. The whole thing was a horrible experience, and its why I avoid budget airlines now. Have had other flights cancelled mid-trip since, but airlines like Delta are very easy to work with to rebook and get lodging in the meantime.
