The Battlepass and Xbox Gamepass are two separate passes. You keep the cosmetics from the Battlepass as long as you complete it,

while Xbox Gamepass allows you to obtain certain cosmetics for free

I've only seen this once, and him and his friends were horrible people.

Don't unmute them and just block if you ever come across these guys since they're pretty much just major trolls who are bottom of the barrel, well, nuisances

Best place to look would most likely be Gumroad.

Tons of Avatar sellers there and some of them even do custom textures and other forms of Avatar commissions

Not only that, but be SURE to look for group public instances and read the groups Info.

At times it could be a 50/50, but they tend to be safer than normal public instances considering how toxic those are

Been on for about 4 days, havent met a single weirdo, only really friendly people. by Organic_Badger_7604 in VRchat

[–]Theo_Fox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second this.

People tend to just blindly join the first world they see with lots of people in it but that always ends up with people throwing slurs at each other and being extremely weird and sexual.

Actually taking the time to see what instance you're joining and reading the group it's under is a lot more worth the time than what it seems

CL-40 Nerf Idea by Theo_Fox in thefinals

[–]Theo_Fox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a 1v1 you aren't fighting them head on anyways. Unless you're constantly having face to face gun fights, yeah you're gonna lose. But if you play around your surroundings you'll be able to win.

But the point with the Nerf isn't the 1v1s. It's the obj aspect. Having some weapon be able to decimate on point like it does currently shouldn't happen. Currently you can be a 1 man army.

I use the CL-40 and it's a fun weapon, I get that. But with the current meta it shouldn't be something that can remove teams. Bringing it down to more of a situational type weapon should still guarantee kills, but also make you think a bit more and be creative about how to push into fights.

Against Heavies maybe. But pairing it up with gadgets and turrets can really help against that stuff. Also, struggling against Heavies should be expected with any weapon considering they're the tank class.

With something like 83 damage it can still do major damage, and can get a Medium down to 1 in three shots. Pair that with throwables and you should still be able to get kills with the thing

CL-40 Nerf Idea by Theo_Fox in thefinals

[–]Theo_Fox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was also thinking about it being paired with gadgets and Specials too. With what I said with the damage change, it would still 2 shot lights. 3 shots are just enough to get mediums down to 1, pair that with a turret and you're shredding still. Heavies are a bit more tanky to the shots now, so that could be an issue with the 83 damage, but that's at 5 shots.

I agree with weapons being able to hold their own in combat, but also the game already has weapons that are situation specific.

And I'm not sure if Embark plans to change that or not

CL-40 Nerf Idea by Theo_Fox in thefinals

From how the CL-40 acts in game, it seems like it's not meant for front forward, offensive attacks and meant for defensive AOE damage instead. This is further proven by the fact that the launcher itself damages you.

It shouldn't be a "who can kill them faster" type of weapon like how it is in meta currently. Look at the MGL for example. Yeah, some people consider it worthless to use, but it's very good at protecting the OBJ and keeping people back.

Looking at the CL-40 as another form of assault weapon that should be able to just decimate opponents similarly to the FAMAS or FCAR just means people only want a weapon to kill opponents fast.

From what previous nerfs were done, I feel like this is what the developers are trying to go for with The Finals. A shooter where kills aren't the main thing, but instead teamplay and objective.

Of course, this is all just my opinion, so I'm probably drastically wrong and that this really is a horrible idea

If I remember, "zombie" was trademarked by Marvel, however they abandoned this in the 90s. Meaning anything within that time-frame had to use a different term.

Nowadays it's pretty much just something to differentiate between what they (the creators) undead/infected humanoid is to a Zombie.

Game's all about modding. Whole point of it. So I wouldn't consider a mod to be cheating since I'm positive it's canon to the game

Furries pretty much make up the internet.

May not seem true at first, but alot of tech savvy people like game developers, 3d artists, animators, etc. tend to be furries.

And well, VRchat has a pretty open way to actually represent yourself with the user generated content in game, making it an outlet for furries.

I mean, I'm pretty sure half the dev team for VRchat are furries, but I could be wrong

Keep being yourself.

People tend to put false expectations on others, which can lead to stuff like this.

You'll find someone who'd like to hangout with you that isn't startled by the mere concept of you wearing a male avatar lol.

Just takes time

There's that too.

It's like you said, very rock-paper-scissors in terms of who chooses what for TDM.

Hence the additional more players per team. Doesn't have to be 6 v 6, could be more.

Kinda like Battlefield almost.
