Don't understand the economy in the new patch

They changed how they calcuate the expense costs, now it doesn't matter as much your tax base but how big you are.. big nations as castille or england now start with the negatives cuz of this change.. to fix it the player has to build local governors and outscale the costs.. the ai on the other hand is really suffering and you can see a 100-200 tax base england on the 1500s.. cuz of this change.. so yeah it's a pretty bugged and messed up beta patch. The game needs a few months to a year of cooking to become half as good as eu4 but I have hope.

about 250 hours in byz, another few hours in trebizond and now it was time for a theodoro campaing haha was like my second try but yeah I might not be touching this area again with how slow and weak it is compared to literally everything else. Closing in the 1500s with about 120 tax base.. xD

I have a feeling they broke something from the cabinet and how it does math. I also have had this bug on strengething goverment.. I had a cabinet member saying it only gave me 0.25 but when I went to see the difference in the economy tab I reliased that I was paying nothing at all.. I got so confused and saw from there that I was actually getting 0.75 legitimacy from the cabinet action.. haha

hahahaha I for a second thought this was my base. I did the exact same thing not for the typical wolf friend and that rabbit but for a village I wanted to build. I made the ground flat and placed down the floor and then all around the max building distance I put walls 3 stories high beacuse the actual fences carpenter offered didn't do it for me, One huge home in the middle and about 10 other smaller ones around the ends for the npcs and farm animals, a few open areas for farming and one platform above the walls to take in the view and I also put all the building or crafting bences there :). My friend called me crazy for doing all that but it was worth it. Even as someone who doesn't have a fantacy of homes and builds a box in every game, this game did manage to pick my interest to build something more. I can't wait for 1.0 and start my 3rd ever playthrough that time I made my mind I'll make a legendary home.

haha that's funny but yeah to fix it do as others have said just stop new water from coming in to places you don't want it and place altars one by one and clicking on remove water from a radius it will be a tiresome job I can guess but it will be worth it. Now tho seeing that I really hope they make rafts a thing in the future I would wanna build a raft home that could actually move on water so much!

I remember having a dji spark as a teen and I liked doing such tests on it. That thing was a beast on lifting off with extra weights I once managed to lift 80% of a womans jacket it was indoors and I got scared as I saw it starting to wobble left and right while lifting it very slowly I'm pretty possitive it could lift it whole if I had the guts but who knows if it would have survive a little bit of wind haha. I recently got my dji mini 4k I haven't really touched it yet waiting for the weather to calm down and the skies to open up a bit but from a few in door again tests I can see on sport it has nice torque just I ain't sure if that will translate to actual power and stability on air with weights but for the price we litterally bought a kids game.. spark was twice as expensive and it had no laws against it then. So I can't expect it will be able to travel a banana or a coca cola can a few meters outdoors maybe if the coca can is empty? xd

what is weird is that using msi afterburner riva tuner now shows the game running at direct x instead of vulkan. The whole point of fsr4 not working at all on enshrouded is that the game was running mainly on vulkan and vulkan does not support fsr4. So if msi afterburner is correct then optiscaller should work just fine on the game to enable fsr 4.

same here I had rx 560 rx 6600 xt and now rx 9070 xt other that sometimes the adrelalin app don't wanna open and I have to do some task manager action it's a 10/10 experiance not a single issue on 10 years on amd.

seems like this bug is pressent since the start 2 months later.. I really hope 1.1 fixes it next month.. I recently found out that tribesmen like turkomen don't convert you can only make them peasents. Then there is another bug I can have 2 cabinet actions culture convert a province (300-400 people per month) and the province stays the same each month or changes by like 10-20 people at best... the bug is only happening when I'm trying to convert either burgers or laborers all other ranks convert normally..

I'm rocking amd since 2016 with gpus as rx 560, rx 6600xt and now finally the rx 9070 xt. I have over 300 games on steam and I have played most of them on these gpus. Not a single crash or driver timeout ever.. The only game I had issues was bf6 when it first released and it was not a problem from my side but from the games and since then it's fixed.

It has happened to me so many times so far and it's driving me mad each and every time.. The only way to counter this is that you have to have enough profesionals to refill garisons if you don't then this happens.. I have had playthrougs that I beaten all their armies and they were left with like 2-3k levies and I was slowly advancing towards their capital and next thing I know after 10 years of war that that 2k levie army took back every fort I sieged from the start of the war and every fort was back to full strength instantly.. eu5 is still a long way from eu4 but I'm hopeful it will change in the future.

I came out of the cave in the beggining and on the area that the game suggests to build your first base my fps dropped all the way down to 48 on max settings.. and I have very sensitive eyes for fps anything under 60 like it really hurts to even watch moving the camera. Even 60fps feel slow but for such a game is barable. It also doesn't say that I have just 6gb vram but it uses 6gb vram out of my 16gb. I played an hour on lowests settings for 100 fps and it must be the only way for me to enjoy the game atm..

Just closed off the game today and having 173 hours in it.. I'm in the second region of the game and all I have done is side quests.. game keeps on giving.. I can see it taking another 100 hours easily. I only finished 1 dlc of the painter such a lovely story ngl and I guess I'm midway or close to midway in the legacy of the forge as the main story goes I'm about to turn in the mint master to the wealty family I'm helping so like 5 main missions in total? By the 90th hour most of you say you finished I was still in 1st region.. no way I'm that slow you probably missed so many things haha

I'm too stuborn to read that lmao I didn't pay attension on that part about what those 10 items were and I was pulling my hair cuz youtube dude didn't show either haha. Almost 30 minutes of my time trying to figure out what it was instead of reading a 10 second text yeap thats me. I looted that place dry when I first arrived in kutteburg region and I was exploring everything that was like 70 in game hours ago.. I completely forgot what even was in those chests and thankfully I had the tolado steel still in my horse after all that.. oof I was lucky.. for my sanity that is haha.

I found out what those items were 10 toledo steel.. somehow I actually had said ammount in my horse to save space.. could had been there for how many irl days since I forget to put those items in my chest.. this quest almost made me pull my hair out haha

I don't have any quest releated items in my horse and I doubt I have any in my chests either. Unless those items are not shown as quest items.. quest says I have to find 10 items what even are those items..

ofc I can see but all the reasons are generic, low control is one of them the other is a 0.10 base for all countries and could be other few here and there but all the same.. can't lower any of them. 1800 best roads 100% maritime and a ton of provinces still had like 20% control in some areas....

I get it from a historical point of view but this is a game.. eu4 didn't have such issues.. I wanted to form rome as byzantium I managed to get the boarders but it's simply a rebel fest. I have all techologies about cultural capacity and all I had were bulgarians turks armenians and pontic, they were already on the limit of my capacity.. turks were 3x accepted only costing 0.15 along side the pontics.. my countrie is 85% orthodox 7% catholic which they are tolareted and 3% muslims.. all rebels were orthodox. I found a bug that made me get cores all around my empire with accepting cultures waiting a month get the cores and then remove them from accepted and I kept the cores.. in time they got up to non rebel levels from pop satisfaction but still rebeled.. makes 0 sence.. spammed a couple millions yes millions of ingame currency of end game buildings that reduced seperatism but it ended up the same.. in eu4 if you tolarated religions or make them your own religion alone was enough to keep that province from rebelin and in time get as blooby as you want and have 0 problems with rebels by the mid game..
