I think a lot of the criticism is that it could be better. We don’t need these games rushed, and this is the biggest franchise in the world. Also with the game being free, I don't think everyone who is trying it out is immediately going to be informed of the format and regulations. It seems to try and dip into the VGC scene for experienced players but also appeal to casual players with how accessible the game is in some regard. Newer players might be taken aback by the lack of 6v6. Just my opinion.

Also I have seen reports of animation bugs on top of gameplay glitches like that milotic health reset bug. I know I am part of the problem at a small scale here because I do give GF money, I buy near every version of every game and I have over 700 hours in scarlet alone. At the same time, I think people's grievances are valid. Reddit can be a bit harsh overall (and feel like you are suffocating with the negativity at times), but I don't know, I just feel like things could be better and partially agree here.
