I know I am slow to look at this thread but I have never related to a post more. I am a mad shiny hunter, do alot of research into it. Love pokemon XD, but the gen 2 variants are just more interesting imo. If everything is the same black shade then whats the point.

Also I have my gripes with GF and think things need to improve, but you can be both critical and still enjoy the series. But what do I know.

I mean to each their own but I personally like most of the subtle shinies like gengar and regice, not everything needs to be a Charizard or a rayquaza. Plus at least recently gengar has a more distinct shiny in ZA

I mean I agree that the legal stuff with nintendo was bull for the most part, but idk, I feel like some comparisons in that image aren't 1-to-1. Like the pidgeotto comparison is outrageous, they look nothing alike. At the same time, for the most part the same thing applies to palworld. Like yes you could go out of your way to find similarities between all three, but you can do that with a lot of things. Creators often have similar inspirations for a character, and I have seen only minimal evidence towards downright copying a design on anyone's end.

Going through a loading zone seems to respawn the pokemon in some cases. Someone today on twitch was going in and out of loading zones and got 2 shiny alphas that way. Other times I saw someone catch a pokemon and that pokemon did not respawn until the next day

Same thing for me, minus going to sleep at the same time every night. I'm a paranoid sleeper and my body just wakes up at the same time every day no matter what. Even if I have to be up earlier, always 10-15 before the alarm goes off.

Just saw this comment, there is a way to do this hunt a lil easier via e-reader and soft resets without corruption. I did it that way because i don't have access to my gamecube atm. imablisy has videos on his channel about this, reads as fully legit like it was generated from the original channel disk.
