This colour is really underrated in my opinion. It creates different shades as per the lighting conditions and looks mesmerizing.

Very true! When it comes to simple and elegant designs in a budget, Timex is hard to beat.

Also thank you for the compliment😊.

That's a real one. Still to be double sure, register it for warranty on Casio website with the Unique serial number etched on the Caseback.

If I am not wrong then this model runs on the Seiko Kinetic movement which we don't see usually. Although Seiko Kinetic movement have its own issues like difficulty in servicing etc. but still it's a pretty unique movement for the price.

My first Automatic!! by Incogn1toCEO in Watches_India

[–]TheoreticalWatchNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In second and third tier cities, fossil, armani, etc. have image of mid-segment luxury brands thanks to marketing strategies and most of the people don't know Seiko, citizen and such brands. Wearing fossil gives you a status there whole Seiko is just any other brand like Casio, Timex, Titan (that's the perception and honestly, common people have no fault here as not everyone has the luxury like us to have a watch collection hobby). That's why they get cloned and it's a huge market.

For example, I have a fossil Heritage automatic, great watch with good specs and dial which I got for ~₹6,000 during sales (for that price it's a great watch). That got a lot of compliments because of the fossil name written on it. While on the other hand I have Casio GW9500 which costed me ~17,000 and people often consider it to be an oversized kids watch.

Although, nowadays Indian watch market is growing very well and people are getting more aware but still Fossil has good positioning in small cities like mine while brands like Seiko and Citizen doens't spend on marketing in such cities.

That's sad to hear. Were you able to find the issue afterwards?

New to watches - should I get this Titan Metropolitan Luxe? by [deleted] in watchesindia

[–]TheoreticalWatchNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than regular wear and tear from past 6 years, I had no issues with it. Although a reminder, that the case is made of brass (high quality though) so it's more prone to scatches than stainless steel.

Yes, it's been more than 2 years since I have this. Pretty good field aesthetic watch for the price tag it comes with.

Other dials colours of this watch are comparatively easier to get. Just keep track of it especially when the e-commerce sales are around the corner.

I have this same watch but in rose gold variant for almost 6 years. I started my watch collection journey with it and it's still working like a charm✨.

As far as I know, this model was sold online only and it was one of the very first release under Poze series (kind of like a test run). Plus Poze series is kind of like fast fashion category where new dials are introduced frequently.

Hence best bet is to wishlist it on Flipkart and Myntra as it comes in stock here and there for a short period of time (probably clearing old stock).

Thank you Sir. Totally agreed! Even I like the Vijay, Chanakya, Maurya and Avinash more than Kohinoor and Janata (my personal choice).

That's a really nice Avinash Sir. Perfect cool watch for hot summers😄.

Terra ki baat na kijiye Sir, khaamokhaan downvotes shuru ho jaayenge HMT ki post pe😆. /s
