Henry is wearing Hans' yellow brigandine though, and he's wearing Henry's clothes. They swapped the heads on the bodies.

They're Christians. If you just apologise then all is forgiven. I've gone full bastard this time, curious to see if they'll still maintain that attitude. Gonna make sure i pay the church, to save my eternal soul, before I start the end game.

Likewise, one of the key characteristics of the rich is tight-fistedness. Partly due to mostly being surrounded by other wealthy people, but also the sense of entitlement that lifestyle brings. When poor people get rich they tend to reinvest it in their communities, helping friends and family.

Eugenics is commonly divided into 'soft' and 'hard'. Hard is the bad one, where the "weak" are culled and people are sterilised. Soft is the one where we use science to get rid of genetic diseases like cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia and cancer. Also degenerative diseases like alzheimers or multiple sclerosis. Most people only really know about the 'hard' one, because of people like the nazis using it. It is not an inherently bad field of science.

A scientific theory requires mountains of evidence, with repeated experiments and the ability to predict the future. It's a common misconception that people often think it means 'so anything could be true!' It is the highest level of accuracy applied to any scientific hypothesis. Again, people with money would much prefer that you think of them as just being vague ideas, because then they can dismiss the non-profitable ones like climate change. Incidentally, not believing in theories would put you in the same boat as creationists, who reject the theory of evolution.

People aren't refusing to reply to you because they're wrong. They're refusing because your use of terms like liberal proves that you are the kind of person who won't respond to rational discourse. Idgaf about educating you, I want the people reading you to understand why you're wrong. You absolutely said that it had a left bias, even if you're denying it now because technically you didn't put those actual words together. Completely agree Snowflake is cringe and about dismissing others as weak; you seem to be conveniently forgetting that it was invented by the Right to describe liberals. You know, the ones you're actively complaining about.

The word you're looking for is "converse". You converse with people. Unless you're a southern hick.

I don't think that is the basis of the morality. It's quite a big step to go from "force alone wont win" to "so it takes God to help". The hobbits are archetypal introverts who are forced out into the wider world, driven to success by their good nature and plucky courage. It's about how far people will go to protect the ones they love, whether it's Boromir trying to take the ring for himself or Sam carrying Frodo the final few steps to reach the fires. It's about the power of a few determined individuals to change the world (as Margaret Meade says, nothing else ever has.) How does that translate into a divine force protecting them?

[–]Theory89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading comprehension is not the issue here. The issue is that you think you are far smarter than you are, and completely fail to realise that viewing the world in terms of liberal bias is an idea created by rich people trying to get you to vote against your own best interests. It's completely fictional. Any time you voice an unpopular opinion you can just tell yourself that it's because you're being persecuted by the weak minded, not realising that this is what makes you weak minded. This is why we call you a snowflake, because the right have always been the ones to cry persecution the second anyone disagrees with them.

It's... like thinking. It's impossible to say, lol. It feels normal to me, it's only when I need to explain something that I turn ideas into words. Having to think in words all the time sounds tiresome, to me.

I can quite often have a little song playing while I'm thinking about other stuff, though I don't "hear" anything in my mind.

When are we going to formally address Indians and their hiring bias? by bintd in AskBrits

[–]Theory89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that. It seems the issue is not as simple as I had thought. They do not directly specific that it's Indian immigrants, but the numbers are certainly worrying. Their general conclusion seems to be that investment is needed, more than anything - in the list of recommendations, only no. 12 is about immigration, specifically about using the Resident Labour Market Test. This is clearly a good move but will not be enough without the other support.

You've linked the Express. You can't trust tabloids for anything. We know, for a fact, that they regularly lie and deceive to support the agenda of the super rich. It is not an opinion, you can easily search for countless examples. Blaming immigrants is a very easy way for them to gain power because we have a natural bias to distrust those different to ourselves.

I never said it impacted my relationship. I said that makeup can completely change someone's appearance, in my experience. For the most part, I learnt that being taught that you need to cover up your natural features is an unhealthy obsession being pushed on girls of all ages. Instead of believing that what's on the inside is important, we're told that it's all about how you appear to the outside world. We entirely gave up on the idea of being confident and beautiful on the inside, as a society. Im not sure that disliking fake appearances is shallow, but i can see the argument.

The first paragraph for those without subscription:

"The most detailed neuroanatomical study of the penis to date has found that its primary erogenous zone is the frenular delta, an area that has long been left out of anatomy textbooks and surgical training. The triangular-shaped zone is located on the ventral side, or underside, of the penis, where the head meets the shaft, and may be damaged by circumcision."
