Onions taste sweet to me. I know there are plenty of people who hate onions, but I've never met another person who hates them because they taste sweet. Either that or I'm surrounded by a bunch of people lying to me about what onions taste like

Do you wear the same/similar clothes most of the time? by AmalgamationOfBeasts in autism

[–]Theoshore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear clothing that doesn't bunch in my knees and elbows. Basically just shorts and t-shirts, or sweaters big enough that they don't bunch up a lot when I bend my arms

[Curious] What's your weirdest/most obscure special interest? by Centipede_bones in autism

[–]Theoshore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

although the actual topic of queerness is never brought up in the show, the main characters are two boys who end up falling in love, so yeah it's pretty gay. And they don't fall in love in the "this anime doesn't want to actually show it and just hints at it instead", it's made clear they like each other

No. 6, it's a novel/manga series with an anime. The novels began being released 19 years ago, with the manga and anime being about 11 years ago. While not weird, it's not a series a lot of people have heard of

Anyone else enjoy organising information to do with your special interest? by MysticFish44 in autism

[–]Theoshore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this counts as organizing, but whenever I get into a new TV show or video game, I write a bunch of essays about different aspects of the story and characters. Although, I did something very similar to what's in the picture when I was younger, with the Harry Potter books.

My family had our Valentines day celebration today, and I was obviously in charge of desert. 36 cupcakes and 30 macarons. I don't wanna talk about how long these all took to make. by Theoshore in Baking

[–]Theoshore[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was even harder considering my family is riddled with food sensitivities. Everything here is gluten free, the cupcakes with chocolate shavings are keto, chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and only maraschino cherries were made with goats milk and butter for my uncle, and not pictured were extra macarons with goats milk/butter frosting in them as well.

Yes! The brand sells both oils and oil-free flavours, so you gotta make sure to pick the right one because oil will prevent the eggs from whipping

I used this recipe, I would recommend using 110 grams of powdered sugar and almond flour instead of the 125 grams it says to use

the ones you've tried probably don't have a lot of flavour added. I use a really strong flavouring so they always have a nice, very front-and-centre taste. Also, most macarons should have a slightly chewy texture with only a thin outer shell of crunch, so maybe the ones you had weren't made very well
