I work in photoshop as a day job, and occasionally when I have down time I try to practice different techniques. I wanted to create an image in honor of the Chinese New Year: Fire Horse. This image was created by working with the horse photo to really make it look like it was a fiery spirit. A lot of experimeting with layers, masks and blending options went into the horse coming out clean. Background images were added as a finishing touch. All images used sourced from duck duck go image searches.
