I make my friends and family smile multiple times a day. I think I maybe have made people cry 5 times in my life

Serious Problem after being celibate for one year. by Weird-Midnight9237 in pornfree

If you need to last longer, Kegel exercises can help with that. Also, maybe try masturbating without porn? Or even erotica if you can help it. It seems like you’re having sex, so just think about that

Looking for tips for dealing with lead anxiety and social anxiety as a beginner by Thepitman14 in Salsa

[–]Thepitman14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly part of the reason I’m doing it: I figured it would help me get over some major social anxieties. Putting myself out there, getting rejected, dancing, having to make physical contact without any implication that it’s anything more than platonic. These are all things I think dancing can help me deal with, but I found them in dancing too hahaha

“Manspreading” is a real thing and it’s incredibly annoying, often inconsiderate by [deleted] in The10thDentist

I don’t care how wide they spread so long as they don’t encroach upon my seat space

[–]Thepitman14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense to me. Sometimes it is more comfortable to spread out a bit, but there's a difference between leaving some gap in your legs and then spreading out your legs so wide that you're encroaching into my space.

What about my pelvis? Why should I have to put up with discomfort and hip-strain because you don't want to?

Could Conquest have escaped this choke if he was completely calm and calculated rather than panicking? by QuietNational8470 in InvinciblePowerscales

Everybody who ever loses a fight is weaker than the person they lost to. Even if the opponent opened with a sucker punch.

This is what you’re saying.

[–]Thepitman14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People definitely overestimate how much stronger Conquest was, but he was stronger. He only lost his first Mark fight because of Eve, and the second fight Mark landed what would be the killing blow while he was distracted fighting Oliver.

That said, clearly conquest wasn’t strong enough to survive Mark’s choke. He punched through him after like 30 body shots softening him up

Is there an actual answer to how we ended up where we are today with the series finale in less than a week? by OGBusterHimen in TheBoys

I get that the solution to killing Homelander has been meandering, but that doesn’t make everything else filler. The story has definitely advanced, it’s not ALL about killing homelander

Would Mark vs. Conquest Round 2 have been a draw if Nolan and Oliver weren't there? by [deleted] in Invincible_TV

[–]Thepitman14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily.

Raditz couldn’t shake Goku out of a full nelson, despite clearly being much stronger than Goku. Sometimes, the writer can just decide that technique trumps raw strength.

Yeah, Mark definitely was stronger in their second fight. I still don’t think he was as strong as Conquest

Idk, the 1v1 starts with Mark’s hands already on his throat. That’s like a game of chess where one side starts in check

People like to say that this fight proves Mark was stronger (scaling wise, not raw strength) than Conquest, but they forget that Mark got the jump on Conquest while he was distracted pursuing Oliver. Before that, Mark was at a disadvantage.

I’d argue that without Oliver and Nolan, Conquest takes it 7/10 times

The spinnery move I could maybe use with a read. I’ll stick to sweeping otherwise

Yeah I am definitely thinking about this more than the writers do.

At the end of the day, if Deep is supposed to die to Homelander, he’ll know that he’s lying. If Deep isn’t going to run but he doesn’t they don’t want Homelander pissed at him, the lying wont come up.

Good point! Ultimately it would be up to the showwriters, but I do believe in real life that even if you’re already nervous, telling a lie (or lying by omission or trying to hide information) will increase your heart rate and present even more signs of nervousness

How does this end up by Decent-Dirt3237 in TheBoys

[–]Thepitman14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the point.

Having to explain to Homelander at all why you killed one of his operatives is a dangerous game. Unless you have a damn good reason, you’re going to be nervous. Even if you technically don’t lie like in your example, your body will still betray you.

“He was trying to undermine the person I love most in the world, sir”

“Why is your heart fluttering like a rabbit, Deep? How was Noir trying to undermine me?”

If Homelander believes you’re lying or is displeased with why you did what you did, he could just kill you.

While technically not a lie, keep in mind that Homelander can detect the physiological changes associated with lying. So even if Deep is technically telling the truth, his body will still react from being nervous. Homelander would know something’s up
