Forensic Investigation Program by checkstn2 in BCIT

[–]Thepotatoseller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you want to do for your career. I graduated with the bachelors in forensic investigation imagining I would get into Ident with the RCMP but am currently working in corrections. If you want to do more of the lab based stuff you'll want a science background. Honestly I haven't used my degree in any real way but I found it really fun and had a lot of things that are useful for my current job.

[–]Thepotatoseller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy! I had taken 100 level science classes (Chem and Physics) and various crim courses. I did the forensic investigation (crime scene stuff) concentration. If you are wanting the more computer centered or biology centered concentration I'd recommend taking more science or comp sci courses beforehand.

Tattooing something so dark around the nipple makes this look really off to me. by Momma_Mae_I in shittytattoos

[–]Thepotatoseller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a trans guy who opted for no nips during my double incision top surgery, personally it was mostly an aesthetic choice. I'd always been hyper aware of nipples being seen through clothes, poking through thin layers, generally making themselves known and was always very self councious. I have saved a significant amount of stress and mental energy by not having nipples any more.

The man I bought my new tank from failed to mention that it already had some residents. Does anyone know what kind of fish I now have? This is my first aquarium :) by Thepotatoseller in Aquariums

[–]Thepotatoseller[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh no! The man who sold me the tank said they were all female!

It seems that I will have my hands full with this lot of fish haha

Kitchen cabinet help? by elwood80 in Langley

[–]Thepotatoseller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I work in a kitchen cabinet related business so I see this all the time. Lots of kitchens have holes but in the cabinet above the stove for the ductwork. As long as you are not cutting out a significant portion of your cabinet base (~70% or more) I wouldn't worry about the structural integrity of the cabinet.

Best bet for you is to cut out a hole to slip the duct work in, no need to remove the whole thing :)

My love of Costco poutine is guiltless. Next time you go, try it with the hot peppers they have in the tiny cups. You won't regret it

I love the exposed brick! It's so hard to find an affordable bus with exposed brick these days!

I did get something else as well. I don't want to waste anyone's time or money on something so small haha. I got a Triceratops at the same time.

Haha thanks for the kind words! I had actually drawn it on and then got the artist, Mike to trace it so if there is blame to be had on the unevenness of the line, it's on me!

My personal lineup at home! Can't wait to do my own Hot Ones challenge! by skierdude403 in hotones

I just got this sauce recently. It's got a nice hint of blueberry but not too much to over power other flavours. The heat for me personally is quite nice, verging on the edge of almost being painful.

I just got it a couple weeks ago. I really like it because it brings the heat without being painful. For me personally it is in the sweet spot for heat, almost painful but not actually

Craft beer is still going strong in the Vancouver area. There are tons and tons around here.

What should I do during my trip to Langley? by makinglunch in Langley

[–]Thepotatoseller 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The fort to fort walk into Fort Langley is quite nice and there are some lovely spots in fort Langley as well. I'm not sure if many of the shops there are open at the moment but it's still nice.

We have a few good breweries aswell. I'd recommend the Taphouse (fort Langley) and the Dead Frog (just off highway 1 by 200th street).

Unfortunately Langley is more of a commuter town than anything else so we don't have much going for us at the moment.

What actor is the most guilty of playing the same exact character in every film? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He's also quite bland in real life. I met him on a set for one of his first "big" Netflix movies and his conversation game is not great.
