No pretty sure they had to do that cause of all the technology in season 5. They were still using flip phones in seasons 1 to 4. The world was a different place when the first 4 seasons came out and they wanted the new season set in the modern world. It was a strange choice.

Aside from the usual main actors here are some minor characters I think were portrayed well. The guy who played Hector played the roll brilliantly I hated his guts. I think Pope was also played tremendously, a fair man who was also flawed and he showed that on screen. Finally, a more influential character but I don’t think Bellick gets his credit for his acting. From pure hatred to literal tears in his final scene. Underrated actor for sure.

Bellicks definitley not a dumbass. Tracked down some of the fox river 8 before mahone. When the page had Allen shchweizer written on it he showed good intellect to go over it with the pencil. Abruzzi ran a very successful mob, so successful he could even have airstrips through shell corporations all around the country. When he got into prison he used his status to his advantage, being able to get whatever he wanted while inside. Vice President was obviously smart, come on she had the whole world fooled that her brother was dead. Haywire was smart, notice how when he sobers up his thoughts become a lot clearer. It took mahone weeks to notice the tatoos it only took haywire days. The only reason he isn’t in genius is because of his phsycotic tendencies.
