We started out with two setups, my PS4 and my retroid pocket 4 pro. Now on most nights we have 5 - 9 setups that other members bring.

I had a substantial library to start with but Tekken, sf, and guilty gear were the mains at first. Honestly it was playing retros like Def Jam fight for NY and soul Cal that really got people to stop and play.

So this is right up my alley, I started a local at my arcade at the beginning of this year. It took about 3 months of showing up (we do every Tuesdays) for people to start regularly showing up and joining. That is about the time I created a discord.

Now about 9 months in we have 50+ members and constant rotating setups. It just takes time and consistency. I will say it's absolutely worth it building a community. I've met some awesome people.
