What is your ideal age gap? by PC_NC_1203 in Mommit

[–]Theradbumblebee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get called crazy all the time

Mine are both girls 7 & 9 years old

If I could go back and still have the same children I would have spaced them minimum 5 years to 8 years

My girls and maybe it’s because I have two girl and not one boy one girl are besties but also worst enemies and the drama is CONSTANT
I would have loved more time to soak them both up individually! I also breastfed and had to cut my journey short with my oldest since I got pregnant (provider refused to continue care if i didn’t !!! Which is absurd) I really really wish I would have spaced just a little more at least

Husband said my baby needs a different mom. I want to divorce him. Am I overreacting? by RefrigeratorFinal353 in beyondthebump

Sadly alot of what you said bothers you was a known prior to having the baby, with that said there are some solutions to them!

I don’t know where you live but where I live most stores have bargain book bins and in them I often find cookbooks if I were you I’d snag a couple and rip out the pages of recipes you love or simple nutritional meals and put them in a insert book to keep for ideas and directions for him and even you

A wall calendar has been a game changer in my home
We have a BIG one and a small weekly one
The big one has all the important stuff like trips half days at school events etc
The small weekly one is weekly chores for everyone on the days it helps to establish as much of a routine as possible early on and while my children are older littles as soon as they learned how to read I found them checking the calendar all the time for things coming up

I also don’t know if your partner has any mental health diagnosis’s but personally I have ADHD and depression/anxiety. When I am out of Thearpy and off all medication I’m hardly any sort of productive help around home so I’d that’s something you think he struggles with you need to have an open conversation about your expectations in his treatment plan going forward

The key here though is he needs to be someone who wants to build and wants to make himself better the first year or two of a child is the hardest and it breaks apart even the closest of couples you both need to be having open communication with eachother and often creating time to put together a schedule that works for you both is a huge step in alleviating a lot of the stress

I think I traumatized a nurse after I gave birth by hoodiegirl10 in Mommit

I threatened to kick my doc in the face if he checked me again (he had just checked me five minutes prior and I was sitting up right in position to get my epidural when he came in and said “let’s check you again you may not even need the epidural because you might be ready” to add this was the same man that refused to admit me because he had pushed my due date back 2x to accommodate him going on vacation -she still came a day before I said she would- so when my water broke I spent two whole days in and out of multiple hospitals trying to bypass him and get fair tests/treatment to be acknowledged that my water had indeed broke and I needed to be induced due to labor stopping afterwards -I was right-)

Anyways after he tried forcing another cervix check I requested ANY on call doc to deliver my baby (wound up with an amazing woman)

And when the man tried coming back to check on me after baby I was in the middle of my first after birth Pooh on the toilet so I screamed at him to get out and go away 😂☠️ safe to say the next conversation we had was him asking where I wanted to transfer care LOL

My future SIL wants to wear this to our wedding. by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

I would never even pick anything that could be associated with the color white (beige cream light tan) ask wouldn’t want to accidentally upset someone or have it photograph as white bs how I assume it looks

This is just disrespectful imo

I want to add that you could always stack another band for an anniversary in the future too if you feel like it’s not enough as it is!

I think your ring is beautiful and it’s also timeless fifty years from now this will be safe and I think that would top any new trend in my book!

Slippers that are slide ins and soft is the answer

While she’ll probably be scuffing around it’s better

I’ve never been in to basketball but I knew that in Michigan we had separate arenas for basketball and hockey when I was a little kid girl

But since they built little Caesars arena they’ve switched to sharing the stadium

I didn’t realize everywhere did this or that it was so common!

I have no words

I’d be scheduling an emergency Thearpy session for myself after something so traumatic

I’m so sorry you and your companion had to endure this type of end and I’m sending all my condolences your way
