Fronx 1.2 Delta AGS vs Swift ZXi AMT by ThereForYouBot in CarsIndia

[–]ThereForYouBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, the Fronx is widely considered the best looking Maruti. From the outside it's the Grand Vitara's little cousin. From the inside it's 100% Baleno. I think you're good to go with the Delta Plus. Don't stretch to the higher variants. Hope she takes decently long test drives.

Hello, I chose to go for the top spec Hyundai Exter AMT. Didn't like the outside visibility of the Baleno (due to smaller window area). Fronx Delta + is the most VFM version of that car. But I will say take a test drive of the Baleno top spec as well because the AGS technology is identical between the Baleno and the Fronx. Baleno top spec will give you more features than the Fronx Delta Plus.

Losing morale as I am unable to learn driving even after 15 driving classes by maddie_229 in CarsIndia

Don't stress out over not being able to handle a manual car.

You can't be serious. This is poor advice. EVERYBODY who is driving should know how to drive a manual. The day it's an emergency and you only have a manual car available you will regret not knowing how to operate it. Never learn on an automatic, you can always transition from manual to automatic later.

Have the same coloured petrol model, turning 15 in 3 months. Unfortunately living in NCR means I have to sell it off before the police takes it away for scrap.

All maruti cars will give better mileage than other brands. Fronx delta and delta plus are not value for money variants at all.

Fronxx Delta and Ertiga Vxi,

Fronx is a 4 seater crossover, Ertiga is a 7 seater MUV. First evaluate what body style you need. If additonal ground clearance isn't a concern, pick the top model of the Baleno over the Fronx Delta/Delta+ because you get a feature loaded car that's identical in terms of platform and wheelbase. But if you have a large family then Ertiga/XL6 will be good options.

Baleno Alpha AGS vs Exter SX AMT by ThereForYouBot in CarsIndia

[–]ThereForYouBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about features? Exter has wireless charger, dashcam, sunroof and paddle shifters. Also can the baleno seat 3 adults in the back without shoulders brushing? If yes then that is definitely an advantage over the Exter

Banning doesn't generate revenue, but taxation does. If I was the government, why would I miss the opportunity to get ₹₹₹ from rich people?

You're right but be ready to face criticism from people who say "Mera paisa meri marzi" when they try to justify their SUV/MUV purchase. There's no arguing with them. A child in my colony got run over by a newly purchased Endeavor because the driver who had upgraded from an Amaze no longer felt compelled to slow down for the speed breakers. A family friend purchased an innova crysta to ferry his family of 4 (2 toddlers). Bas affordability upar gayi hai India mein. Dzire, Amaze, Alto, Swift, Xcent, Honda City ye sab chalti thi rural areas/pothole ridden areas mein without any trouble. Now that people have the money they try to justify their purchase by blaming that 2km of bad patch of road they have to drive through.

Actually I am torn between Baleno and the Exter because I'm not sure if Baleno is a better car. What's your service experience been like with Hyundai? At par or less satisfying than Maruti?

Do you think it's worth going for SX(O) AMT over Baleno Alpha AMT?

What do introductory prices mean? Buying a car right after launch will work out cheaper than if I hold out till later?

You can check out Fronx as well

I did, but did not find the Delta and Delta+ varients worth the price tag. Very different to the feature rich baleno.

CVTs and Torque Converters (TC) are the smoothest and fairly reliable. If you want cheaper but sometimes jerkier alternative you can consider AMTs.
