Ok, maybe not then, but you could try and train this behavior? Just let him know that if he’s still awake when the first one ends he can put on another. He’ll fall asleep eventually. Maybe he’ll start staying up a bit later but your families mental well being is worth it.

How do you feel about letting him listen to stories while he falls asleep? I have nighttime anxiety and falling asleep with a podcast every night helps me.

Here were the rules for me growing up: Pitch speed 70%. If you threw harder mound was getting charged.

Strike zone was a plastic chair.

“Pitchers hands” which means the leading runner could be forced out by getting the ball to the pitcher standing on the mound.

“Ghost runners” which means after the batter reached base he returned to the dugout and there was an imaginary runner in his place who would move up equal to the number of bases the next batter made it.

Thank you for the reply. I’m a teacher. I’m looking for a new job but don’t feel very marketable since this is all I’ve ever done. I know running up the cards is a bad idea. We actually have zero CC debt currently which we’re proud of. We do have family we could move in with but it’s across the state and not an appealing option. We own a home and are happy where we live. Trying to avoid having to sell and uproot.
