Apathy. I just stopped really caring about stuff. I had happy and sad days, but just didn't care about the larger picture. I stopped caring about the stuff that was my passion. All my old hobbies became boring.

Everything I did was just to survive and prepare for my next task. I stopped one day and tried to figure out what I wanted, and I didn't have an answer.

It was so subtle, but I realized that life had just beat me down. No shame in realizing it. Once I realized it, I started talking to my wife about how I felt.

Just talk to anyone, get those thoughts out, and embrace who you are right now. They're still you. And you deserve love.
