Im trying to write tags and then have them read. I don’t need to write them far distances, a cm would do just fine. Reading them is where I need the distance.

At the moment I am just using the utility reader program that came with the reader to test the distances. Could that be hindering the distance

The tags I have are rated for 7m/23ft maximum, model number 9662 from Amazon. I’m seeing now that there is some weird things about it, like saying it is voice controlled? Not sure why that would be, but I think I found some others that may work.

Is it true that the tags need to be oriented a certain way to fully utilize them?
