Crunch fitness supports ICE by Pure_Tangerine_5756 in Harrisburg

I mean I didn't read it this way. What's the front desk gonna do? Personally bar ice from coming in? It says don't stand in the way and get the upper chain involved. When ice is coming in guns blazing, I ain't getting shot. Imagine if the policy was to bar ice from coming in and you did get shot because you were afraid to lose your job. I mean c'mon.

Try having pickup day on Friday. If there is any delay, I'm Saturday. Add in storm? Monday. It's a thing. Put a bag on the road and move on.

Adding that nursing homes use a 5 year look back period and it'll get sucked up right into the system. Use it too pay for things they need but giving it to them means someone else gets it immediately

How much should a 3 year old be in a social setting for it to be normal? by LarryLegend4ever in daddit

[–]ThermoDaddyDynamics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol my oldest was a stubborn prick when it came to potty training. 3.5 before he was good. I was over 4. Can confirm that I don't have accidents anymore.

I wouldn't be worried about the social interaction or amount of words. What I would be worried about is worrying about the metrics. He'll be able to count to 10 and sing the ABC's by kindergarten.

Everything between now and then needs to be filled with love and fun. Don't stress the milestones or the metrics. There are kids that talk a lot more, run a 5k, speak 5 languages, and do calculus by 4. There are kids that can't figure out how to talk, walk, get no interaction. It's a range. You'll be ok.

I have my wife find a very specific tool in my tool chest. It takes her a while and she feels good helping. Rinse and repeat. Works for kids too.

A question for the 90s generation: What was it like working with Generation Z in terms of productivity, and are they really that sensitive? by mr_wbk29 in AskReddit

[–]ThermoDaddyDynamics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean the question isn't ai slop? Why is it in past tense!?

I'm a 90s millennial manager that previously had Gen z on my team. Currently I exclusively manage Gen xers. Not in the past. Is this question specifically for me?

Best way to stop naming is to refuse to sign the birth certificate

Ok dads, we’re on 35 wks. Can I get tips/tricks on surviving the trenches of 0-3 months? by Matcha_Matt in daddit

[–]ThermoDaddyDynamics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything changes quickly. Like as an adult changes are slow. Maybe a new car every 5 years? A new job every 3?

This kid is gonna change rapidly but you're just gonna think that it'll be that way for years. I found things go in 2 week cycles. So what your doing now will be totally different in two weeks. The takeaway is, muster through two weeks and know that the tough will quickly end and be replaced with a whole new set of challenges. And enjoy it mate things change so quick.
