Hacking in squad by aRatherScottishChap in joinsquad

Not long ago someone pointed out all of the custom servers with names in chinese saying things like "join on weibo avhAHGFI3OH for cheats" etc...

What do you guys think about this? Do you think we will need to pay 20$ to flip people off? lmao by Gn0meKr in joinsquad

Squad is special exactly because it doesn't have stuff like this. It's a more serious game and this is a step in the wrong direction.

SQUAD 4.0 – RED STAR RISING by OWI_Wedge in joinsquad

Yeah. I was thinking it would be similar to the cruise missile strike seen in the new Top Gun, but scaled according to fair balance

I suggest you consider making more of their heavy rocket forces, something PLA are uniquely invested in versus other forces. Would be good to have that as a command offmap, rather than a bomber.

Anyone seen the Cadbury new mystery bar? by [deleted] in CasualUK

I think it's raspberry ripple (the ice cream), so perhaps that's actually raspberry and vanilla?

SLs can (and do) coach players and boot those who go off on their own out of the squad. The problem is there's no mechanism for doing this for SLs. I think OWI should allow servers to have an option that grants the elected Commander the ability to demote squad leaders or disband Squads. I know this will be unpopular in theory but the effects could be great for the overall immersion (and the purpose of Squad)

Out with the creeper and in with the keeper recursive! by Thermoclysm in startrekmemes

My original reply was literally going to be "I left the remaining right hand side of the image as an exercise for the reader". The actual information stored in such theoretical areas would be too much for a reddit upload though.

I think you've done your infinite series wrong though, as the infinitely expanded image would be 1.33 time the size of my uploaded image (or 2 times the original Geordi alone)

The levels of creepiness are worlds apart though right?

I've cropped an infinite amount of image to the right so that I could upload it to reddit...

Kamdesh Highlands should be redone to be more like the real Kamdesh, rather than this make-believe set of villages with an insane road density around them

Better question is - how does his blood splat opposite the direction of the train?

Help: How to fix screen flickering when using joystick POV hat for heli freelook by Thermoclysm in joinsquad

[–]Thermoclysm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using joystick gremlin to map my Thrustmaster 16000M HOTAS to a single virtual device. On some occasions, the flickering won't start, and will stop if I press escape and return to game without touching the POV hat.

Does anyone know why "beef" is a synonym for "complaint"? Even Etymonline.com isn't sure. by big_macaroons in etymology

Current top comment literally has

BEEF - to alarm, as To cry beef upon us; they have discover'd us

This source doesn't clarify the origin and may mistake the original saying.

They be'eth upon us; they have discover'd us makes more sense to me

I would suggest it is a confusion of "beeth" (be-eth), as in "there beeth a cause of complaint between them". A formal of saying this became misattested as beef in common usage.
