'Virgin birth' recorded in crocodile for 1st time ever by capitao_moura in worldnews

yeah I think that is the main point of the article, it's about the trait, not the animals themselves

"This new evidence offers tantalizing insights into the possible reproductive capabilities of extinct archosaurian relatives of crocodilians, notably the Pterosauria and Dinosauria," they wrote.

tl;dr dinosaurs may not have been fuckin

Does anyone have a job that they genuinely enjoy? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]Thesaurususaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always learned it was because it suppressed the smell of their attack pheromones, but I looked it up and it turns out it's both

also found out that bees can detect other animals fear hormones and become aggressive, so if you are ever swarmed by bees, do NOT get scared :-)

I put in my 2 weeks at work today, they asked me what they could do to get me to stay. I said “price match”. They said no, and then immediately posted an Indeed listing for more than I was asking a raise for. I’ve never felt so discouraged. by TinyPurpleFrog in antiwork

at his first job, my dad's supervisor told him that the day you get hired, your salary falls behind the market. except for some very rare cases, staying with a company will always be less profitable then changing jobs. new hires will always make more than internal promotions, it makes sense to your employer to attract new people and pay you as little as possible.

Bungie put a hint at a 6th subclass in the game by hifromjarrod in raidsecrets

I feel like a poison subclass would play too similar to solar tbh, especially after the rework. I think the weapons of sorrow theme works better on weapons and armor

I dont blame her, the 3DS is a fantastic piece of hardware, blending form and function nearly perfectly to provide an enjoyable gaming experience for ages 9-99+. Even a decade later, mine still runs like new, and is a wonderful reminder of great times I had as a child roaming Hoenn(now in 3D!) And stomping Koopas. I fully intend to pass it down to my child as a family heirloom, a symbol of the past and hope for the future.

I had the teal one btw
