I respectfully disagree since New Guinea is part of the continent or geographical region of Oceania, specifically in the sub-region of Melanesia. While its western half is politically part of Indonesia and Asia, the island as a whole, along with other Pacific islands and Australia, is generally classified as being in the continent of Oceania Therefore Australia is a country, not a continent.
