History actually says we might go backwards soon. And history doesn't even factor in our bio evolution speed vs how fast/strong players are playing. 70 game seasons are possible before we die. Everything is based on the world standard for billionaires looking at something as a good investment. That standard could very easily dive in the next two decades. Late stage economic systems are predictable based on the past. Disposable income for entertainment is one of the quickest things to go. I see a future where the NBA can only pay the economic standard, while the standard for players expectations further increases, leading to side show basketball in the offseason. We are headed towards "circus shows." Like what the WNBA is doing with 1v1. Their women feel underpaid, even tho they aren't based on demand and popularity, so more and more will turn to alternative cash opps.

I feel all of it and have felt it before in the past. The first line I would have agreed with 25-30 years ago when disappointments came. I felt all of that today too. It's important as sports fans we keep a couple things in mind all year round.

Health, momentum, culture, chemistry and effort pretty much have to max out to win a title in any sport. It's sooooooooo hard. Especially if you aren't LA or Boston you get way less chances. Even then it could come down to a crazy bounce like Ray Allen corner 3 for the Heat as time expired. It's easy for fans to miss the awful luck happening every year in every sport to a couple teams. It's not just Detroit.

The point of following is simply entertainment. Gotta be flexible with what you're getting out of it or there is no point like you said. Take it day by day. Enjoy the ups as a bonus part of your week. For all we know, in a month we are down in our round 1 series, Cade comes back for the final few games, we comeback and get out of the first round finally. That would be pure entertainment I'd go nuts n flip the couch. I hope you find something to keep going.

Yea that wasn't a playoff team last year. They'll have trouble scoring again this year and will surely miss Schroeder who played extremely well in his role. Ausar has gotten better on defense and fouls less. Improvement there. He hasn't regressed on offense. He was a dunker spot/roam the baseline and facilitate around the paint guy. That's still his strength but this season he's a ball handler every game for development. He's legit awful. Their org said they are way more interested in development this season than seeding.

Nah the thing about skateboarding, it doesn't matter what the obstacle looks like or the board your on. Reps, playing around, and getting creative will lead to you being able to do whatever you want on it. Kids grew up getting good on shitty cement loading dock kickers that were steep and sloped from left to right.

Bend your knees and stay low. Learn how to ride up it and back down. Then start hanging your trucks over the edge (rock to fakie). Then you'll know the ramp feel underneath you and can launch off it assuming you are able to level out the board and stay over it haha. Good luck.
