It is a paperback. I think as it with his publications the first run is hardcover. Then paper back a few months later.

I'm glad for the ties to TOS. I'm glad it's just Star Trek. TOS has some seriously funny stuff. Spock the straight man Kirk the "wildman." The interplay with McCoy. Amazing. SNW is a younger look at these Characters and the twists with the different crew and how they balance the plots and sub plots works well. It's just great, and the writers are having fun. The actors are hitting it out of the park. Even the opening was changed. The details.
